Implement, Monitor & control HSE Standards /conditions of contract throughout complete project cycle from construction, testing, commission to operation.
▪ Advise management team in operational risk management and analyze HS&E perfor- mance.
▪ Develop and maintain transit safety policies, standards and review procedures, hazard analysis relating to design, operations and maintenance of rail system.
▪ Devise & Promote technical, operational and methodological elements to manage passen- ger train interface (PTI), Fire protection & other failures (technical, signal, security etc) .

▪ Undertake operational audits and follow up remedial action plans.
▪ Prepare & submit weekly operational safety reports & presentations to top management

to identify any opportunity for safety and operational performance improvements.
▪ Day-to-day monitoring of project & operational aspects in stations, depot and other associ-
ated service areas including OCC.
▪ Deliver best practice in the management of planned and unplanned disruption working
closely with other areas of the business to ensure deliver a safe, reliable customer experi-
ence.
▪ Oversee customer feedback collection on safety & security and monitor quality index com-
pliance.
▪ Lead the team to devise and implement contingency arrangements to mitigate service dis- ruption.
▪ Participate in technical evaluation of consulting & contractor agencies, maintain compara- tive statements and analysis data.
▪ Carry out needs analysis. Plan, co-ordinate and conduct SHE training programs. Establish & Monitor Safety Competency management system.
▪ Coordinate with and advise Management to comply with the prevailing HSE local regula- tions, guidelines and codes of practice.
▪ Carry out occupational health & safety surveys, sampling and lead campaigns.
▪ Conducting Monthly Safety Health & Environment Performance rating of contractors as-
sociated with the project.
▪ Evaluate, review & approve SHE plan, Method Statements& operational control docu- ments from contractors, Chair weekly Contractor Safety Review Meetings.
▪ Advise project management in preparing Group Risk Assessment (GRA) for the critical activities including routine maintenance activities in main line, Stations, Depot etc & re- view.
▪ Investigate incidents/deviations, prepare/review reports and monitor action plans.
▪ Periodic review and monitoring of operational controls and safe systems of work.

Duties & Responsibilities
▪ Responsible to Implement HSE Standards as per the conditions of contract for the project.
▪ Provide necessary advice, information and support in the effective implementation of the HSE
Management System requirements.
▪ Coordinate with Management to comply with the prevailing HSE local regulations, Implement Welfare facilities.
▪ Conducting Monthly Safety Health & Environment Performance rating of contractors working for the project.
▪ Plan and conduct SHE training programs, initiate drive to promote HSE awareness and per- formance.
▪ Carry out SHE inspection of Work Area, Work Method, etc. as per the ISO requirement.
▪ Review & approval of SHE plan, Method Statements submitted by contractors, Conducting
Weekly Contractor Safety Review Meeting
▪ Advising project management in preparing Group Risk Assessment (GRA) for the critical ac- tivities.
▪ Co-ordinate with main contractors and other sub-contractors for ensuring safety at site
▪ Checking PTW( permit to work and documents)
▪ Monitor strict implementation of all safety checklists & permit systems.
EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
Duties & Responsibilities
▪ Disseminate and Communicate EHS Policy, EHS Management System requirements to site
personnel
▪ Assist EHS manager in documentation, performance monitoring and assessment.
▪ Provide necessary advice, information and support in the effective implementation of the EHS
Management System requirements and EHS plan.
▪ Plan and conduct Internal EHS training programs, initiate drive to promote EHS awareness and
performance
▪ Carry out EHS inspection of Work Area, P&M Equipments & Machineries, etc.
▪ Creating EHS awareness and oversee PEP talks.
▪ Conduct investigation of incidents & advise corrective& preventive measures
▪ Maintain all site specific EHS documents and monitor permit systems.
▪ Take part in review meetings, present safety data and monitoring status.
▪ Initiate worker consultations and submit feedback reports.
▪ Day-to-day monitoring and evaluation of EHS risk management elements.
▪ Ensure EHS downline communication transparency and coverage.
▪ Supervise, mentor and review peer team performance and subordinates.

▪ Controlling and managing the operations & Process along with implementing Continuous and
breakthrough Improvement Techniques.
▪ Maintain outgoing product quality within prescribed standards
▪ Weekly and monthly production, quality, machine and technical efficiencies review and report-

▪ Undergone on the job training for nine months has travelled across four manufacturing plants
of Marico Limited and has done various projects in operations, commercial, health safety and
environmental sections.
