•Prepare HSE Plan and procedure as per client requirements.

•Ensure that HSE Procedures/Policies & Plans are implemented and followed at all levels.

•Prepare Hazard analysis & Risk assessment of site activities

• Assist heavy Lifting operations.

• Ensure monitoring of the Permit To Work (P.T.W.)

• HSE induction and training as required.

• Monitor and advice that personnel have received appropriate Safety Training in line with the job performed.

• Attend the site in the event of accidents/near miss, participate in the investigation process and report findings to the Project/HSE Manager

• Assist supervisors/ foremen when performing their periodic site inspections and conduct their own auditing/monitoring activities.

• Ensure that remedial actions to rectify sub-standard conditions have been implemented.

• Carry out daily rounds/site inspections and maintain safety officer log.

• Advise on environmental protection and waste management.

• Monitor the provision and assist the Supervisors/ Foremen during the execution of their periodic Tool Box Talks.

• Ensure appropriate HSE posters/signs are displayed.

• Site emergency preparedness .

• Monitor outstanding Safety Corrective Action Requests, report close out to HSE Manager, Consultant and Client.

• Monitor and advise that site equipment and safety systems are in place, operational and maintained.

• Issue General HSE reports as appropriate (Daily, weekly/monthly)

* Ensure that all HSE Procedures/Policies & Plans are implemented and followed at all levels.
* Co-ordinate with client and Management to achieve desired safety standards.
* Investigation of Accident/Incident and Near Miss and suggesting remedial measures to the Management to prevent recurrence.
* Conduct spot audits on vehicles, equipment and Maintenance.
* Hazard analysis & Risk assessment of site activities and preparation of specific HSE Plan for the same.
* Planning and conducting of Emergency Exercise, Mock drills and evaluate its effectiveness
* Monitoring Work Permits and associated job safety plans
* Conduct HSE Internal Training programs
* Conduct Weekly/Monthly HSE Meetings.
* Conduct Monthly inspections of facilities and suggest the Corrective actions to the Management.
* Prepare the Monthly Internal and clients required HSE reports.
* Review the risk assessment periodically and take appropriate control measures, update the Risk register.
* Identify the Significant Environmental aspect and impacts and take the appropriate control measures.
* Coordinate with Departments for the effective implementation of HSE Management system.
* Conduct HSE Induction Training program for new employees.
* Review and update the HSE documents by involving all personnel in the organization
