Review of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, understanding, analyzing and accurately assessing all ITT requirements.
•Preparation and compilation of complete, compliant and professional proposal documentation, both technical and commercial, for submission to clients in line with client bid documents and tender deadlines.
•Preparation of all NDT, PWHT, Advanced Inspection tendering and estimation.
•AUT Commercial preparation and estimation for all international projects.
•Maintained good customer relations for PWHT sales related enquiries.
•Bidding for proposals on other than UAE and India regions like Oman, Bahrain and Qatar for commercial and technical bid submission.
•Successful Registration and Re-Registration/Pre-Qualification with various Oil and Gas companies (ADMA -OPCO, TAKREER, GASCO, ADCO, KNPC, TATWEER) in UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain.
•Managing the Sales & Business Development process / pipelines.
•Managing the Sales Force software for entering all the relevant enquiries and proposals to the system as per Stanley Black and Decker policies.
•Weekly update about the business opportunities, enquiry generated, ongoing projects, upcoming projects using BUB call with Stanley Black and Decker Corporate office Finance Head and Presidents.
•Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining services to customers and prospective customers
•Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
•Help clients solve problems with provided services.
•Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
•Help in researching and developing new services
•Compile documents for prequalification and proposal ensuring that client’s requirements are fully met. This involves writing and editing sections of the prequalification templates, final proof reading and ensuring quality of the sample boards before submittal.
•Coordinate with Sales / Marketing in the selection of appropriate services to be included in the submittal.
•Ensuring all relevant documentation (approvals, PO, etc.) are attached along with the submittal.
•Coordinating with logistics for submittal of the documents ensuring timely delivery under acknowledgement.
•Respond to queries received from customers / contractors ensuring replies are prompt and factually correct.
•Follow up for approvals with all the ministries for existing products as well new products getting launched.
•Regularly follow-up with support staff from each division to update product details, specifications, catalogues, etc.
•Develop, manage and update the prequalification library and filling system.
•Ensure correct sample boards are available always which are to be submitted with PQ documents.
•Prepare and submit periodic reports of activities for higher management(President)-if required.
•Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.
•Experience in attending ADIPEC Exhibition and meeting several clients and getting sales and inspection related enquiries.
•To act as a single point contact with Client for the proposal phase.
•Ensure that the proposal is prepared in accordance with applicable Company’s Quality Procedures & Work procedures and in line with Client’s Specification & Requirements.
•Preparation and analysis of commercial bid for above projects, prior to submission for management approval.
•Coordination with discipline engineers and buyer assigned for the proposal for various technical issues and vendor related interface.
•Coordination with Supply chain & QA QC Departments for vendor related interface.
•Client meeting to explore opportunities.
•Experience of producing bids in a highly regulated industry in the Middle East.
•Working experience of multidisciplinary teams including PMO, Estimating, Engineering, Financial Control and commercial management disciplines.
•Ability to lead multidisciplinary bid teams to achieve tight deadlines in a pressured environment.
•Efficiently coordinated work with other functions like Operations, Administration and Finance to ensure the submittal of proposals is as in line with their current capabilities, availability of manpower and equipment and budget.
•Analyze received subcontract agreement with regard to cost and commercial.
•Prepare base cost estimates for project for agreement with Business Development Manager / Operation Manager.
•Cost analysis and estimating.
•Develop and maintaining detailed costing basis for pricing comply with the company policies on health and safety.
•Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
•Recognize and understand the customer’s needs, make suggestions for possible solutions, and quickly develop budgetary numbers.
•Work directly with customers to understand their processes and develop the best solutions for their requirements.
•Reviewing all incoming enquiries and assigning it to the relevant Business managers for final approval.
•Contract review and negotiations with regard to liabilities, warranties and other relevant clauses.
•Leading the client engagement with regard to enquiry process until contract award.
•Commercial negotiations with clients.
•Ensure service delivery to the clients through regional area managers.
•Ensure site work is delivered with high level of quality and safety.
•Directing and coordinating organizational functional units so that their activities are carried out in an integrated manner.
