• Review vessel contracts & develop tailor-made Electrical, Automation, Navigation and Communication design by studying customer requirements and meeting the Class requirements for the Vessel.
• Prepare technical scope of equipment & subcontractor scope.
• Technical Evaluation of supplier offers and commercial negotiations to budget.
• Prepare Project Planning documents, Execution plans, Baseline Schedule, Responsibility & interface matrix, Communication Matrix, Budgets forms.
• Monitor the project and prepare reports for Management. Verify Manpower Histograms from subcontractors /shipyards
• Verify cost control reports and engineering variations proposals
• Raise service requisitions, verify POs and validate invoices/ approval of work completion report
• Participate in design/constructability reviews, risk assessments meetings
• Render Electrical Project documents, Load analysis for Generators, Electrical plans for Power Generation and Distribution meeting Class regulations.
• Collaborate with other discipline teams for design compliance to DP2 standard.
• Prepare the Technical Specifications and subcontractor scope documents.
• Involve in Technical procurement and commercial negotiations.
• Review the Technical documents from supplier and assure them for the compliance to the design of the Ship.
• Submission of Electrical Plans to Class and Client and successfully resolve all clarifications and get an approval without comments.
• Liaise with Production departments and provide them with user friendly drawings for easy workflow.
• Prepare Commissioning procedures and involve in testing onboard the Electrical Systems.
• Attend for DP2 Calibration at Sea and complete the FMEA trials.

• Successful pass the FMEA analysis for the Electrical Design.
