• Supervise & Participate in the implementation of the HSEMS with relation to company and contractors
• Promote awareness of site personnel to HSE. Investigate incidents/accidents. Participate in Haz Identification
• Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports, audits, statistics, incident analysis of HSE activities, environmental discharges from the rig namely flaring, emissions & wastes etc.
• Perform RA & gap analysis to identify areas of continual improvement in HSE performance.
• Carry out study surveys on HSE matters related to company activities & suggest corrective measures to continuously improve all operational areas with established HSE laws
• Experience of HSE monitoring, compliance assessment, auditing and reporting schemes
• Carry regular HSE site reviews and inspections to monitor compliance with HSE policies & procedures.
• Prepare Environmental Manual (Schedule-D) for RIG site/ main camp as per Aramco Standard.
• Invite/ conduct air quality/stack emission testing & monitoring of diesel engines/ heavy vehicles.
• Sampling and laboratory analysis of water/ effluents and assist in results before safe discharge
• To prepare oil spill readiness plan and environmental procedures on waste management & emissions.
• Implement HSE initiatives and campaign in order to improve safety culture on site.
• Coordinate and report on Monthly HSE performance of the project.
• Prepare HSE document requirements i.e. Monthly Safety and Statistics Reports from Sites.
• Reviews/monitors Job Safety Analysis & Unsafe Act/ Condition Reporting program for contractors.
• Implement Annual Inspection Program, maintains Tracking System, follows up action items & close out
• To ensure all Risk assessments, MSDS, Incident Reports, Periodic site environmental inspections, etc., are available for inspection or audit or anyone need information to ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Design Environmental monitoring system.
• To conduct HSE meetings, write agenda & circulate its minutes to all concerned
• To draft the roles & regulations, policy procedures of company & planning the department activity & evaluation the plan to target achieved.
• Liaison director with ministries to coordinate Safety, Health & Environmental issue.
• To conduct fire drill & emergency evacuation exercises.
• To lead/ participate in the investigations of incidents/ accidents, advice & assist line management in writing reports, analysis of root causes & emergency response procedures.
• To prepare PPE policy, conduct training on its correct use, & monitor its usage in all work areas.
• To investigate & write detail reports on relevant environmental & safety & fire incidents.
• To prepare Safety & Environmental Manual of the Factory.
• To invite safety/fire consultants to inspect existing Factory set-up to suggest upgrading of safety/fire standards.
• To organize & conduct HSE training programs.
• To supervise & depute the production staff & services department staff according to priority of jobs to be attended to achieve production targets.
• Work in close liaison with Maintenance Engineers to resolve plant problems, condition monitoring to improve plant availability & reliability.
• Experience of operating Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Compressors, Gas & Diesel Engines.
• Monitoring of utilities e.g. CO2 removal system, Furnace oil unloading system & P.C. oil firing nozzles.
• To monitor production targets with maximum plant efficiency & energy conservation.
• Experience of operating PLC based instrumentation & Controls.
• Carry out study surveys on Safety, Environment & Health matters related to company activities & suggest corrective measures to continuously improve all operational areas with established HSE laws.
• Write work instructions & operating procedures in order to reducing downtime & manpower utilization.
• To carryout overall planning, scheduling & monitoring of daily, weekly & monthly progresses.
• Monitor fuel & power consumption on daily basis & analyze these figures against planned targets.
• To monitor budgeting & targeting of production levels on quarterly & monthly basis.
• To co-ordinate with Quality Control department for achieving the required quality limits i.e. PSI, ASTM & BSS.
• Logging of maintenance related works to utilize the planned / unplanned shut downs of plant.
Three Year Multi-Million Dollar Clinker Project:
Construction, Fabrication, Erection, Installation, Commissioning & startup of PLC based instrumentation & controls over 3300 TPD Clinker Project which includes Vertical Roller Mill 3700, Gas/ Diesel Engines, Centrifugal/ Positive Displacement Compressors, CO2 removal system, Five Stage Pre-Heater, Rotary Kiln.
• Prepare detailed design, technical schedules, client engagement and project deliver
• Prepare all preliminary workings like, feasibilities, presentations, estimations, time span, schedules.
• Prepare progress & cost reports to the high officials of the company on fortnightly basis.
• Supervision, planning, scheduling, budgeting, maintenance & monitoring progress of the project.
• Working as Site In-charge for Installation of Refractory Bricks & Castables.
• Write procedures, work over programs & completion reports of various jobs.
