• Administers, directs and coordinates activities of Patient Care within the department accordance with Ain Al Khaleej Hospital’s General and Departmental policies and in accordance with Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses (Health Authority Abu Dhabi).
• Responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures within my area of responsibility, and for keeping the Director of Nursing informed of both progress and potential problems.

Working as Clinical Nurse Instructor (CNI) and my area of responsibility includes:-

* Act as an active member of Nursing Education Services (NES) team.
* Perform the teaching and training responsibilities foster professional growth by enhancing skills of Emergency staff.

* Ensure the Basic Life Support (BLS) training for the nursing staff in emergency.
* Submit weekly report to the Head Of Department (HOD)
* Contribute to continuous nursing education (CNE) and professional staff development.
* Systematically evaluate quality and effectiveness of staff development programmes, analyzing data to identify for improving in services of customers.
* Assist in other training programmes and additional responsibilities as assigned by HOD.
* Maintain confidentiality about the nursing staff and their practices.

* Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the infant or child's and family's diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
* Reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift.
* Maintains current competency in infant/child critical care nursing.
