● Installation and maintenance of various types of power equipment such as Uninterruptible
Power Supply units (U.P.S.), Solar Power Units, power inverters, stabilizers/ power conditioners,
LV distribution panels, PDUs, ATS, STS, battery banks, Rectifiers /battery chargers, switchgears,
changeover switches, industrial plugs/sockets for servers, surge protection devices (power &
Data), power failure alarm systems; power set-up / connections at Head Office, Annexes and
branches using hand and power tools; configuration of UPSs’/Inverters’ network systems for
online monitoring.
● Electrical protection: Lightning, Surge and Earthing systems.
● Overseeing, maintaining and rectification of electrical issues on electrical facilities and power
audit at Zenith Bank Head Office, Annexes, Lagos & Western Branches.
● Supervising Electrical Contractors to conform to standards and specifications and
ensure use of quality materials and products.
● Overseeing equipment at Data Centre/IT rooms - IT power, fire detection/suppression, cooling,
Infrastructure (environmental) monitoring units (water, temperature, humidity).
● Overseeing preventive, routine maintenance (Planned / Unplanned) of
Power Equipment (Genset), Liebert HVAC high precision cooling equipment and FM200
Fire Systems at Data Centers, IT rooms and Energy Center; clearing errors and ensuring optimal
performance of the Systems.
● Structured power cabling, lugging, terminations and cable management
(trunks, ducts, cable trays, cable ladders, cable ties and tagging (labels)
● Actively involved (with Toptech Engineers) in the installation / setting-up of Liebert (Emerson)
power equipment at Zenith Energy Center (UPS FARM) consisting of 4 units of 300kVA UPSes, 2
units of 120kVA UPSes, 6 units of 200kW Datawave power conditioners (magnetic synthesizers),
2600A Automatic Transfer Switch (Asco switch), 2 units of 1000A & 250A Static Transfer
Switches each, 8 units of HVAC high precision air conditioners.
● Operating, monitoring equipment utilization and machine downtime with responsibility for the
implementation of corrective and preventative
actions
● Recording equipment operations and reporting to Senior / Deputy Managers (Engineering)
● Data Center facility and smooth operations.
● Handled the tasks of assembling, configuring and upgrading users’ computer systems.
● Handled troubleshooting issues related to hardware and software applications.
● Responsible for installation of software (Applications) on users’ computer systems; data surge
protectors and Power over Ethernet units for routers, modems, switches/hubs, radios and
earthing (connection of earth/ground) to all communications equipment.
● Carried out structured LAN (Network) cabling, patching and troubleshooting and LAN
Configuration in Zenith Bank Facilities & Branches.
