As the MIS Reporting Accountant my responsibility is to ensure recognition of robust financials in compliance with IFRS and to manage the financial planning and analysis of the business. I directly report to the Assistant General Manager - Finance.

Working as part of a team that is responsible for making sure that the flow of costs and revenues between the various projects, regions and people is accurately accounted for and managed.

Duties
• Preparation of Financial Statements.
• Assisting the Accounts, Tax and Controllership lines of the clients.
• Reconciliations - Bank, Balance Sheet & Payroll.
• General Ledger entry including accruals & prepayments.
• Dealing with statutory returns.
• Assisting internal/external auditors with queries.
• Chasing outstanding customer accounts.
• Resolution of invoice queries including credits.
• Assisting with sales/purchase ledger duties, cashbook and payroll.
• Communicating clearly & effectively with the client.
• Monthly/quarterly management accounts.
• Assisting in preparation of year end accounts for clients.
• Involved in financial reporting, risk management, compliance and integration.
• Registering clients for VAT & PAYE.
• Provident Fund management.
• Advising on investment opportunities - Treasury Bills & Fixed Deposits.

• Making income or expense entries into the accounting system.
• Entering vendor invoices, paying bills and creating invoices for its clients
• Preparing account reconciliation.(Bank)
