• Perform audits at vendors’ premises for cost control & optimization of resources by value analysis and cost reduction techniques
• Visit to Foreign Tool Makers for Tooling cost negotiation, finalization of development criteria and other terms.
• Participate in Kaizen & 5S activities
• Work in an ERP based environment

• Manage Cars & Motorcycles Parts Localization Project(s)
• Issue RFQ’s & conduct Specification Meeting with Local Vendors by discussing all the Technical & Manufacturing points
• Study Technical Drawings & prepare a detail cost breakup of parts i.e Plastic, Sheet Metal, Casting, Forging, Electrical items etc
• Prepare Feasibility report for Management approval & issue Purchase Order to concerned Vendor
• Use AutoCAD, Fastblank etc for blank sizes calculation & proper lay outing for better Yield Improvement and Cost Reduction
