At Think and Learn, I was recruited as Business Development Associiate with a stipend of Rs.20, 000 and was tasked with the acquisition of sales for their product, Byju's The Learning App. As one of the leading start-ups in India and an aggressive marketing company at its core, Think and Learn has given me a strong exposure to the corporate world. My internship was spent adhering to strict sales targets and deadlines and the high pressure nature of the work allowed me to enhance my ability to work efficiently while building strong communication skills
For my 8th semester project undertaking, I was a member of a team of interdisciplinary research interns tasked with the synthesis of an efficient semiconductor photo catalyst. The project required conduction of various synthesis reactions, characterisation of our product sample using tests such as BET and XRD analysis, compilation of research data, development of detailed spread sheets and presenting our results to the university board members. The project would find novel applications in solar powered water purification systems.
As part of my internship, I was tasked with managing data, preparing reports and studying the process chain for production of commercial soap and to suggest modifications by applying Chemical Kinetics-Rate Equations and Process Modelling Simulations.
