Design Responsibilities:
• Making warehouse site survey.
• Providing CAD solutions of storage systems on AUTOCAD.
• Optimizing the solutions to meet the storage targets of client within budget.
• Preparing BOQ & costing for the approved plans.
Procuring Responsibilities:
• Getting RFQ from different suppliers so as to provide multiple solutions to the clients.
• Analyzing all the supplier quote based on quality, price & lead time.
• Negotiating with the suppliers to achieve competitive market prices.
Sales & Marketing Responsibilities:
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.
• Generating revenue to the department by seeking and targeting potential customers.
• Emphasizing on complete customer satisfaction.
• Regular follow up with clients for managing and interpreting client requirements.
• Interact with customers to understand their enquiries and provide solutions to their storage problems.
• Maintaining client contact database.
Installation Responsibilities:
• Getting RFQ from different sub-contractors.
• Contracting installation work to sub-contractors based on their expertise & cost to project.
• Regular site visits to supervise the work is in line with clients requirements & as per plan.
• Plan, execute & make sure the projects are delivered on time.
•Search and target potential customers
• Designing of storage racking and shelving systems for warehouses
• Preparing layout drawings, bill of quantities and quotations
• Costing of the projects
• To increase the sales of organization.
• Understanding the company’s products / services
• Maintaining good relationship with clients
• Regular follow up with clients/ customers for requirements
• Maintaining clients database
Knowledge of designing various storage products for warehouses like heavy duty racks, medium duty racks, drive in racks, drive through racks, cantilever racks, VNA racks, mobile racks etc.
• Sustenance engineering of Aeroengines, Oil & Gas domains.
• Ensuring the work is performed in accordance with the specifications/procedures.
• Responsible for the successful execution of the customer requirements.
• Time estimation of deliverables.
• Interact with onsite coordinators on weekly basis to discuss project issues and queries.
• Preparing weekly work plan and achieving the same.
• Maintaining customer database with the updated files.
• Preparing technical presentations for future use in knowledge management.
• Maintaining minutes-of-meeting for every team meetings.
