• Managing the group EHS Systems for the Middle East, UAE and Oman.
• Leading the EHS projects, including developing OSHMS for different facilities, establishing EHS strategies, plans, programs, policies and procedures that ensured beyond compliance performance through management commitment, employee participation and comprehensive risk evaluations.
• Getting the regulatory OSHMS approval certificates across the group, contributed in the preparation for several Joint Commission International Accreditation surveys across the group.
• Setting plans for conducting internal audits and inspections, FMS Gab analysis & Mock surveys.
• Participating in the Health authority of Abu Dhabi inspections for re-licensing, leading and facilitating HAAD’s, DHA audits and inspections as well as the third party audits.
• Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are fulfilled on the federal, local levels as well as international best practices. Demonstrate collaboration and cooperation with corporate members, branches, clinics mangers for the different aspects concerning the EHS, JCI & FANR compliance requirements.
• Monitor the EHSMS performance & effectiveness and initiate recommendations on the implementation and continual improvement.
• Promoting the Health & safety culture across ANH Group through EHS initiatives, maintains the commitment towards the OHS and the Environment sustainability, organizing the EHS related campaigns, knowledge fairs, OHS days programs, and participates in HAAD workshop as speaker.
• Reviewing the hospitals’ contracts, setting in the EHS requirements in tenders to ensure the compliance with EHSMS requirements, applicable EHS laws and regulations, oversees the contractors’ management procedure implementation.
• Setting the annual EHS required annual budget for maintaining the EHSMS effectively implemented, prepares the facility improvement plan with cooperation of Engineering, biomedical, Support service departments.
• Participating in several HAAD workshops as a speaker and panel discussion member.

• Member of the team responsible for preparing “Protecting Human Health from Environmental Risks law” prepared by ministry of Health- UAE.
• Follow-up topics of EHSMS with Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, Reviewed draft of EHSMS RF for Abu Dhabi emirates and commented on it.
• Presents MOEW in the Meetings for Environmental statistics with National Statistic Centre specially "Waste Database".
• Prepare UAE comments on the Developments and Obstacles in the implementation of current strategic plan on Basel convention.
• Prepare reports on the Environmental issues and Regulations for Industrial pollution, Waste Management, Air Quality & water resources in UAE that presented to Federal National council.
• Participated in preparing the strategic plan for Chemicals & Hazardous Waste Department for the period from 2011 to 2013.
• Reviews ESIAs and EMPs to provide specialist technical assessment of content.
• Communicate, Coordinate between industrial companies overall UAE Emirates for Environmental Performance Card & review their EIA Studies & OHS Management systems.
• Prepare the UAE's comments on the Second Standing Committee of the 120th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, on Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Marine Environment and Desertification & Biofuel.
• Follow-up many projects related to the Climate Change phenomenon & Marine Environment and Coastal Area.
• Follow-up some topics related to UNFCCC.
• Follow-up the implementation of the National Desertification Strategy and its own action programs through coordinating with different Environmental partners
• Communicate with Governmental agencies to develop standards and requirements for the development of the Marine Environment and Coastal areas.
• Communicate with NTA for ships’ Statistics control and inspection.
• Presented several suggestions to help in improving the workflow and protecting the Environment.
• Managing all responsibilities for the Biodiversity& Conservation area department;
o Prepare the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity & conservation area Department for the period from 2011 to 2013.
o Follow-up the Convention on Biological Diversity with CBD Secretariat.
o Review the draft of the National Strategy for Natural reserves for UAE.
o Participate in the Preparing UAE 4th Biodiversity National report.

• Inspect different Establishments (Hospitals, Ports, Airports, Schools, Water treatment plant &Waste landfills, etc. to ensure their commitment and compliance with Environmental Law & its Regulations.
• Participate in preparing of the Crisis plan for Natural’s & Environmental Hazards.
• Contribute in the development and monitoring the implementation of policies & Regulations for the protection of the Environment & Public Health.
• Participate in preparing plan to decrease effects of Global Warming.
• Participate in preparing the Environmental action plans as Air Quality, Waste Management, etc.
• Handling the Environmental complains.
• Granting different Environmental Approvals according to law 4/1994.
• Representing the Environmental Management in people's Local Council sessions.
• Preparing different technical periodic reports on Department performance.

• Participate in reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment studies for Companies.
• Provide technical advice for some industrial problems by providing corrective, preventive actions and route cause analysis.
• Provide consultations in the field of Conserving of the Environment, Occupational Health & Waste Management.
• Prepare technical reports & Provide advice on Environmental audits and inspections.
• Participate in preparing training courses for companies and establishments assist them to comply with laws & regulations.
