Personnel:
- Prepare internship agreements and non-renewal letters.
- Maintain appropriate records and ensure confidentiality regarding personnel
activities and personnel data including employment documentation, evaluations,
exit interviews and other relevant information. (PAFs)
- Responsible for preparing and updating Personnel Action Forms in the HR system.
- Manage the health insurance process starting from adding team members to the
insurance, following-up with the insurance account manager, and being on-call for
any emergencies related to staff
- Ensure the correct filing of the health insurance and follow-up mails
- Participate in the yearly Health Insurance tender process

- Focal Point for the social security including updating the online system on a monthly basis and reconciliation with finance department.
- Work with Finance regarding the monthly payroll process and generate a monthly report to the Finance and HR Manager.
- Assist with updating MC’s Handbook and bi-laws.
- Update the HCM monthly basis.
- Provide assistance to HRM in amendment the new salary scale.
Recruitment& Internship
- Reviews applications, shortlisting, participates in the interview process and recommends final applicant
- Ensures accurate and complete recruitment and selection guidelines and procedures, reporting any issues to the HRM.
- Participate in the review and update of the Internship hiring process and procedures by reporting issues and suggesting improvements to the HR Manager.
- Responsible for enhancing the Internship hiring cycle, by creating new polices, procedures. -
Legal:
- Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance with laws and serves as the primary contact with the organization employment law attorney.
- With close supervision from the HRM, working on updating and reviewing the staff handbook, Bylaws and the Disciplinary action table.
- Remain informed, on an ongoing basis, about current and changing HR-related laws, policies and “best practices” to ensure that current and future personnel policies, employment practices, and compensation packages are within the limits of established standards, procedures, guidelines and policies of Mercy Corps, as well as the Jordanian labor law.
Technical:
- Participating in the program’s meetings. (kick off meetings/ closeout meetings/ etc.)
- Maintain and update the HR database for the team.
- Participate in any HR team upcoming projects. Including but not limited to staff
trainings, public speaking, external presentation).
- Supporting other MC offices- HR team once it’s required.
- Travel to each assigned field project location to provide member care assessments.

- Participate in Job fairs to attract the talents and to brand the company.
- Create candidate pool for several departments to cover the shortage immediately.
- Follow up on signing the contract, joining date, and the required documents for the new employees, and inform the concerns department to prepare the needed for the new joiner.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide the Management with the analysis report of the turnover rates.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior level recruiting staff.
- Implement the Recruitment Automated cycle and educate the affiliates on how to use it.
- Identify training needs to prepare the annual training plan according to the needs.
- Prepare training report on monthly basis.
- Work with directors and chiefs on preparing individual development plans for employees identified as successors to key positions.
- Conduct the Mid-Year review with the managers to make sure that their subordinates are doing their objectives correctly.
- Follow up on workload results and review it with the managers for those who have low workload results and ask for justifications.
