Country Sales Manager - Kuwait
General Transportation & Equipment Company (GTE) was amongst the very first companies of The Olyan Group. The solo dealer for :
- Atlas Copco Air compressor and Diesel Generator and Tower light .
- CASE earth moving equipment
- SCANIA commercial Trucks
- AMMANN road machinery equipment
- Oversee, supervise & plan activities for the project.
- Prepare work plans for implementation
- Check & inspect work accomplishments in accordance with standards & specifications.
- Recommend revisions that suit actual work conditions.
• Sales department budget preparation and implementation, in liaison with finance manage and operation manager.
• Development of a strong sales team, that is target-oriented and business-driven (recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring, achievement measurement, appraisal)
• Working closely with other departments (i.e.: product support, parts, workshop, F&A) to make sure that overall company targets are met.
• Involved in writing/editing policies (e.g.: in-house finance policy, credit policies…etc).
• Getting new business through day-to-day product sales, marketing and technical activities.
• Securing, manage and developing existing key customer accounts trying to maximize profit and growth through developing new plans strategies, long term customer relationships.
•Study market through field survey visits to gain a full picture about new and old customers existing through major projects running within our territory in different aspects of economy.
•Getting new business through day-to-day product sales, marketing and technical activities.
•Provide solutions to our customers in the rental power dept. where we considered every one in the market as potential customers (construction, industry, real state, catering, media …etc).
•Securing, manage and developing existing key customer accounts trying to maximize profit and growth through developing new plans strategies, long term customer relationships.
•Increase my company share of market by getting new business from prospect customers and cold calls since regular visits and closed follow up trying to build active customers with loyalty to us.
-Main duties :
-Contact customers and finish deals.
-Troubleshoot for power system.
-Installation and commissioning engineer for generators
- Main duties :
- Supervises the operation of the plant while being under commissioning, through Commissioning of Automation System (Industrial IT 800xA) using SCADA for Wastewater Plant.
- Checking the Connectivity of the System Network (Fiber Optic).
- Testing IO Signals and Field Instrumentation Connections.
- Testing Alarms Configuration and the Functionality of the System.
- Troubleshoot any failures / abnormalities in the SCADA system and carryout any corrective actions accordingly.
- Provide technical assistance to operation team so that technical problems are overcome in a timely manner.
- Monitor the communication process between the RTU and SCADA systems to ensure effective communication between devices. Take corrective actions in case of any abnormalities.
- Carryout corrective maintenance activities on the SCADA in a timely manner to reduce system downtime and maximize system availability.
- Take first decisions in case of emergency, knows process and safety emergency procedures.
