Budget Financial analyst - Account Payable
Preparing accounting and financial reports for monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements including classifying, and summarizing financial transactions.
- Analyse current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement.
- Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators.
- Communicate financial insights suggesting issues to management.
- Monitoring spending for adherence to budget while recording, recommending variances as necessary.
- Analyse expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.
- Review invoices to ensure that all the information appearing on them is accurate and complete before recording.
- Verify that payable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Recording of daily purchase and grants transactions.
- Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.
Account Receivable
- Overseeing reports regarding cash flow, ensuring correct payments are made in a timely manner.
- Reviewing invoices and ensure receiving all supporting documents.
- Working closely with legal department regarding matters pertaining to client financial contracts.
- Resolving collection by examining customer payment coordinating with collections department.
- Check the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures.
- Review, assess and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls of a business unit.
- Study, inspect and assess, budgets, balance sheets and other related financial statements and records.
