Leading Vodafone Oman Core Network performance and optimization activities. Developed acceptance test scenarios for network launch. Developing annual forecasts for all Vodafone core network nodes. Built automated process/tools for network/service performance monitoring and analysis. Built detailed KPI reports and for all core nodes for health check and KPI analysis. Investigated and troubleshooted performance degradation issues through trace analysis and KPI correlation, and provided technical recommendations. Optimized the network resources through advanced balancing techniques. Developed the capacity plan for mobile and fixed core network nodes. Conducted configuration/LLD audit for parameter alignment/harmonization and KPI improvement. Delivered impact/risk analysis reports for introducing new solutions/services. Provided recommendations for node/site redundancy improvement. Developed acceptance test scenarios for VoLTE introduction and troubleshooted the failed tests.
• Monitoring/analyzing STC 2G/3G/4G CS, PS, EPC and IMS performance and utilization; with specific focus on MSC-S, MGW, STP, HLR, HSS, CUDB, SGSN/MME, GGSN/SGW/PGW, PCRF and Site Routers.
• Preparing core network expansion plan for Hajj, Ramadan and promotions in term of SW licenses, hardware, signaling links/BW, trunk route capacity and site router ports; and proposing contingency plan.
• Investigating performance degradation through KPI analysis and troubleshooting tools; and recommending new features and design/configuration changes to improve network performance and resources utilization.
• Analyzing the reasons for degradation of technical KPIs and taking corrective actions to improve the degraded KPIs as required based on technical analysis and investigation.
• Developing KPI reports, setting threshold and performing daily/weekly audits for network resource efficiency.
• Supporting relevant Ericsson and STC teams with statistics during events, disasters and daily operation activities.
