As a Head of Maintenance and Property Operations, I am responsible for two main departments as the following, also for light projects and soft renovations

Responsibility and tasks
• Implementation of department’s strategy, policy and procedures, code of conduct
• Budgeting Capital Expenditure Expenses (CAPEX) and Operational Expenditure Expenses (OPEX)
• Managing Procurements process and payments operations, preparing technical evaluations based in international standers
• Managing energy saving plan, finding Green solutions
• Preparing Risk Assessments, evacuation plan, method of statements, work procedures.
• Managing Assets stores, Consumables stores
• As a custody of all engineering and logistic contracts reviewing and approving all agreements and contracts, with vendors, contractors.
• Treating all Audit notes, through periodically meeting to ensure work quality.
• Checking and approving all invoices from Procurements which related to engineering and logistics.
• Representing employer in front of all relative governmental organizations to keep premises legally such as Civil Defense and Amman Municipality.
• Execution offices modification, light renovations, painting, branches peroration and closing works.
• Developing Maintenance and facility operation orders system.
• Forecasting of purchase budget and preparing maintenance schedule, department procedures, spare parts and consumables requirements and inspection of mandatory spare parts for effective management of maintenance activates.
• Implementing conditioned based maintenance, preventive maintenance and required modifications to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the electrical equipments.
• Compilation of maintenance cost, identifying and procurement planning of critical spare parts like, for formulating effective long term and short term strategies plan and its implementations.
• Ensure that the staff carries out systematic procedure to restoration.
• Formulation of preventive and routine maintenance schedules and units Shutdown maintenance programs, in coordination with planning department.

• Assurance of approved Method and Materials are being used and conformance of the specifications
• Stage inspections and surveillance in accordance with ITP and assurance of quality of work as per specification
• Confirming the Installation locations from schedule of approved construction drawings.
• Organizing tools and equipment required to the work site.
• Assigning work crew.
• Toolbox talks to be given prior to commencing the day work.
• Receiving electrical subcontractor works according specifications & international standers.

• Implementing conditioned based maintenance, prevenative maintenance and required modifications to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the electrical equipments.
• Forecasting of purchase budget and preparing maintenance schedule, department procedures, spare parts and consumables requirements and inspection of mandatory spare parts for effective management of maintenance activates.
• Improve departmental communications for effective planning, optimum utilization of recourses and sharing knowledge by participating in various forums like performance meeting, warranty meeting, overhauling meeting etc.
• Compilation of maintenance cost, identifying and procurement planning of critical spare parts like EX 2100 excitation, load commutated inverter (LCI), for formulating effective long term and short term strategies plan and its implementations.
• Improving awareness on safety, quality and environmental issues among the employees of Electrical Maintenance Department (EMD), coordination safety related activates, ensuring the safety training and first aid training for the staff.

• Implement preventive corrective opportunism and periodic maintenance, the maintenance include 100 MW generators, gas and steam turbines auxiliaries, 0.4KV, 6.6KV SF6 switch gear, main auxiliary and distribution transformers, protection and management relays, MV and LV motors, frequency drive, interruptible power system.
• Formulation of preventive and routine maintenance schedules and units Shutdown maintenance programs, in coordination with planning department.
• Keeping suitable quantities of significant spare parts and consumables to perform a quick repairing achievement.
• General administration and control of maintenance team.
• Ensure that the staff carries out systematic procedure to restoration.

• As site engineer of the project team from client side, overall supervising and coordination implementation of project activities.
• Field variation were studied and approved during the implementation period of the project.
• Receiving electrical works according to contract specifications and manufacturers recommendation.
• Follow-up site tests for electrical equipments and devices with manufacturers test team, and examine results according to specifications and international standards. Mainly for synchronous generator, switchgear, UPS system, protection and relays, power sharing, motor and frequency drives, underground cables.
• Follow-up commissioning activities.
• Attend factory acceptance test (FAT) for165 MVA generator, FUJI electric factory, Kawasaki, JAPAN.

• Supervising, and following up generation processes.

• Follow-up the electrical implementation activities .
