I analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs based on changes that occur in the work environment.
I participate in annual training plan and budget preparation.
I Support and continuously update the IKEA basic job knowledge booklets, mentoring, and other development programs.
Remain up to date on current training and development trends via networking, matrix communication, and multimedia access.
Facilitate orientation programs and HR specific training and other programs as required.
Develop and maintain the store’s yearly training plan and individual schedules and sign ups.
Assist in recruiting and selecting of new coworkers, and you will be responsible to train, develop, coach and mentor these coworkers in accordance with the IKEA culture.
Maintain updated training module database and produce reports as necessary.
Create store specific training programs as needed
I ensure standardization in store training programs and materials.
I work closely with trainers to develop suitable course content which help co-workers to improve their job skills
I'm responsible to evaluate trainer performance, training logistics and the effectiveness of training programs, provide recommendations for improvement.
Monitoring, measuring and reporting on staff training and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales by using assessments, training evaluation feedback and through discussions with trainers and trainees.
I develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
I monitor training costs to ensure budget is not exceeded, and prepare budget reports to justify expenditures.
I ensure that systems and methods stated in IKEA Concept Documentation are implemented with regards to your area of responsibility.
I keep the store management up to date with internal and external training and development programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the respective training programs by obtaining feedback from trainee and trainer investigates other training opportunities for staff.
Create awareness among the employees about IKEA’s HR policies & procedures.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required for smooth and efficient operation.
