Identify risks and threats to operations and objectives and eliminate/mitigate the same.
• Proactively look beyond the obvious to identify continuous improvement opportunities to gain

• Encouraging, creating a risk awareness culture within, and communicating the Risk
Management policy, strategy and methodology to the MUTALABAH community.
• Advising or training staff at all levels on core and on-going risk management concepts and
issues.
• Manages and develops a comprehensive process for assessing, identifying, monitoring and
reducing business risks that could interfere with MUTALABAH objectives and goals.
• Administers the process for developing risk policies and procedures, risk limits and approval
authorities.
• Establishing enterprise risk management framework and infrastructure encompassing credit,
market, liquidity, interest rate and operational risks.
• Assisting the Board of managers in setting risk tolerance/appetite levels.
