E. PROMIS programme. Duties include but not limited to:
Obtaining quotations ( 3 minimum ) from different
Suppliers for materials like :
( steel, wood, hardware, electrical items, diesel generators …. Etc. )
Negotiating final prices with suppliers.
Preparing comparison statements and pointing out
merits & demerits of each quotation.
Reaching a conclusion with the procurement Manager.
Placing orders and follow up on delivery with suppliers.
Auditing daily movements of the Plant Division.
my tasks and responsibilities were as below:
cost effective purchasing of electrical and mechanical items.
Establishing preferred and suitable suppliers and manufacturers.
Reviewing and negotiating the cost with suppliers and manufacturers.
controlling day to day expenses.
sourcing out new suppliers and clients.
preparing quotations and negotiating them with clients & finalizing orders.
invoicing and following up payments.
Executing deliveries to the sites in arrangement with client's site engineers.
