Provide high level assessment to analyze business requests
Ensure that right approaches will be followed in implementation phase of internal applications
Follow up with vendors and monitor remote software development teams
Consult and design for software projects including mobile banking application
Writing technical documents for various projects such as Business Requirements Documents and Consolidated Functional Specifications
Collaborate with other Architecture teams
Conduct proofs of concept for emerging technologies
Coordinate between the business and IT stakeholders to develop a solution architecture approach
- Improve systems performance by investigating problems, developing specifications, identifying trends in technology, and recommending solutions
- Work with cross functional teams like Enterprise Architecture/Infrastructure/Business Analytics teams on technology decisions and technical designs
- Develop cost and schedule estimates for new development activities Strong knowledge of software development life-cycle (SDLC) project management methodologies, with expertise in Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
- Managed the development of cross platform applications
- Perform other software development and management-related duties
- Assist management in establishing timelines and prioritization of work within the software development team
- Assist the group’s Technical Manager in developing level-of-effort estimates
- Design and develop Geographical Information web and mobile applications
- High comfort level working within (and analyzing and improving) an established code base
- Follow established SDLC process for code development through code release and support
- Lead team in the entire life-cycle of projects: design, development, deployment and testing of distributed services
- Coordinate with embedded and external teams, create relationships and assist with shared initiatives
- Provides input to the work project plan, performs technical review of applications and peers’ work and develops proposals for improvements
