Roles and responsibilities:
Youssef Allam Group are working in several line of businesses “Digital & Analog Printing solutions, Medical systems, Real state, Paper Manufacturing, etc.
They are the sole agent for several brands, its accessories and consumables.
They are in the process of restructuring the organization, developing their own business process manual and automating their business using ERP / CRM “SAP, MS Dynamics AX and CRM “and HR systems.
My role as a Project Manager and IT Director is to make sure they achieve all these target.
Strategic and Managerial roles
• Developing Information Technology strategy in support of Aboul Fotouh Group’s mission and core objectives.
• Participate in creating, modifying and documenting the Business processes for all departments and the interaction / collaboration between different departments.
• Directing, controlling and motivating the staff of Aboul Fotouh Group Information Technology department.
• Developing an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor their implementation
• Managing and supervising the information System operations, to maximize the performance and achieve the desired Aboul Fotouh’s objectives.
• Ensuring Stable, accurate and error-free operation of the Organizational enterprise business applications.
• Negotiating service level agreements with both internal departments and external service providers and monitoring service delivery to ensure the agreed IT targets and standards are met.
• Overseeing the implementation of network security at the corporate level.
• Directing the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.
• Researching and evaluating new technologies required for the Organization to reach maximum operational efficiency.
• Governing ERP Application Security / Data Security as well as security associated with a functioning business applications
• Establishing best of breed applications support and data management policies, processes, procedures and workflows.
• Monitoring and control service and maintenance contracts with the service providers.
• Planning and implementing a Disaster Recovery and Risk Management plan across the company that assures a very minimal down time and no data loss.
Technical Roles
• ERP Project Manager “Microsoft Dynamic Ax 2009 and later on upgrade to AX 2012”; support Planning, Manufacturing, Sales, finance and trade and Logistics business needs.
• CRM Project Manager “ Microsoft CRM 2011 and later on upgrade to CRM 2013”; support Marketing & Sales and After Sales business needs.
• HR system Project Manager “HITS"; support the HR department Business needs.
• Linking all sites together using dedicated VPN connections to form one big network that share files, email system and Databases across the whole company.
• Implementing Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory server, DNS Server, DHCP Server, File Server, Print Server, Exchange 2013 @mail server, TMG 2010 and Internet server, SQL 2008 R2, 2012 R2 Server, IIS Web Servers, WSUS server, System Center Protection Manager, Configuration Manager, Operation Manager, Virtual Machine Manager. • Supervising the administration of more than 25 Servers and 550 workstations.
Information & Communication Technology Manager

• Defining, updating, and implementing IT strategy for the Educational Reform Project "ERP" for the main office and other 7 governorate offices.
• Managing the IT department across the project and supervising 12 IT staff with different levels,
• Planning and implementing a Disaster Recovery and Risk Management plan across the project that assures a very minimal down time and no data loss.
• Selecting, Managing and controlling the external IT providers through the procurement process according to the USAID regulations.
• Managing the outsourced services.
• Managing different IT projects that we implement for our partners in the Ministry of Higher Education.

• Prepare training courses for the staff in different kind of software.
• Prepare general Inventory for the Software and hardware.
• Administrating 28 Servers and 350 workstations.
• Implementing Security policies and documentations that control the equipment usages.
• Update the software with the necessary updates, fixes, patches.
• Upgrade the computer systems whenever needed.
• Attended comprehensive training at AED headquarters in Washington DC on how to install, maintain and upgrade to new hardware and software systems.
