Main job responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Coordination, planning & preparation of the Hospital for CBAHI Accreditation - Maintaining & overseeing Hospital’s plans for Quality Management & patient safety. - Maintaining Hospital’s Policies & procedures, and ensuring department’s manuals are in compliance with hospital’s policy. - Prepare, coordinate and Carry out quality-related educational sessions & training for staff, each according to their needs.
- Performing statistical analysis and managing Indicators via statistical information systems such as Excel & Minitab - Coordinate, attend and record hospital’s committee meetings & follow up on recommendations as appropriate. - Assist the Departmental QI designees in the setting and adopting of quality Improvement Programs, Tools and Benchmarks for hospital wide activities.
- Participates and oversees the Performance Improvement activities and training all over the organization. Prepares reports as required regarding PI activities.
- Serve as source person on Interpretation of PI standards, PPGs, and regulations hospital-wide.
- Performs data collection activities and review Utilization Management.
- Review all PI monitors, tracks, follow-up, and documents with the PI Manager.
- Schedules, follow up, and attend Committee meetings as needed
- Prepares, follows up, and reviews standards and requirements for Acquiring /maintaining Accreditations such as (CBAHI, JCI, HIMSS, ASHP, HACCP, Centers of Excellence, etc..)
- Risk Management Activities and training
- Develop and implement the Hospital’s quality improvement plan in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the hospital, Saudi Ministry of Health & Central Board of accreditation (CBAHI) Requirements.
- Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures for the identification, collection, and analysis of performance measurement data
- Train the leadership, staff and business associates as to the quality improvement plan, and their respective responsibilities in carrying out the quality improvement program
- Lead, facilitate, and advise internal quality improvement teams
- Collects and summarizes performance data, identifies opportunities for improvement, and presents findings
quarterly to the Performance Improvement Committee and Board of Executives
- Analyzes customer survey data to identify opportunities for improvement and presents findings to appropriate
departments
- Actively participates on, or facilitates committees such as: Quality Improvement, Utilization Management and Patient Safety
Maintaining and increasing lab's business relations and sales target achievement for, y assigned Branches through:
- Visiting contracts' contacts and shandling any problems
-Visiting private doctors and raising their comments to the administration with trying to solve them
-organizing group meetings and stand alone(s) for business contacts.
-Attending weekly meetings and preparing both weekly and monthly reports for the branches performance and progress
-Maintaining internal relation with colleagues and branches managers.
-Interpret and implement quality assurance standards in hospital to ensure quality care to patients.
-Review quality assurance standards, study existing hospital policies and procedures, and interview hospital personnel and patients to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance program.
Write quality assurance policies and procedures.
-Review and evaluate patients' medical records, applying quality assurance criteria.
-Select specific topics for review, such as problem procedures, drugs, high volume cases, high-risk cases, or other factors.
-Compile statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings.
-Review patient records, applying utilization review criteria, to determine need for admission and continued stay in hospital.
-Oversee personnel engaged in quality assurance review of medical records
-Initiating and managing successful business-to-business sales and relationships in Egypt and the Middle East.
-Manage and grow sales in territory.
-Manage projects working with customers, suppliers and inside company personnel.
-Assist customer service personnel to solve occasional problems with customers in territory.
-Develop a thorough knowledge of company's products and services.
-Qualify and secure new business opportunities and strengthen existing accounts.
-Follow up and close deals on contracts initiated by our Telemarketing team in Alexandria, Egypt
-Contacting the representatives of our foreign suppliers in case of any inquiries from the costumers.
-arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling;
-making presentations to dentists, hospital doctors, and pharmacists in the retail sector.
-organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff;
-building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff e.g. assistant;
- planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables.
