Job Description
1-Receiving shop drawings from engineering office & fabrication schedule plan (weekly, monthly)
2-Study shop drawings details & discuss any non-understood remarks with engineering & welding section
3-Giving feedback to planning if the plan will achieve or not for available status (no. of man power, available work shop tools, required fabrication activities…etc.)
4-Distribution of fabrication drawings to work shop groups according to their fabrication skills & historical experiences for the same fabrication items (if found)
5-Supervision fit-up, welding & finishing activities
6-follow up if the actual fabrication schedule is matching with plan schedule or not
7-Released finished fabrication with QC
8-Shipping finished items to sand plast
9-Prepare monthly productivity report (reported to section head & production manager)
10-Make a trial assembly for some fabricated items (according to project specs.)
11-Make communication with maintenance, tool purchasing, consumables store …etc.

Job responsibilities
1-Receiving prefabrication documents from tech. engineering office for the new shop drawings
Prefabrication documents are:-a) Material stores requisitions
b) Profile cutting lists
c) Plates CNC cutting plans
d) Single part drawings for positions
2-Discuss prefabrication weekly plan with planning engineers
(Tonnages & priorities)
3-Check CNC plans for plates & profile cutting lists with given material in MSR of required drawings (quantities, dimensions & material grades)
4-Arrange cutting of plates & profiles to achieve complete items positions for required planned drawings
5-Supervition work shop activities (cutting, drilling & finishing)
6-Check done tonnage with consumed hours (T/HR) is accepted or not
7-Make asked reports for the production management (weekly, monthly & yearly)
