of the MEA Credit business. The covered space is Middle East, Turkey and Africa Credit, managing a
team servicing clients both locally and internationally (US, Europe, Asia, Africa and Middle East) with a
strong track record in developing client relationships regionally and globally.
● Showed strong credentials in risk management and Pnl generation in all the products covered, whether cash
bonds or credit default swaps, while also closely supporting, DCM, Research, the Repo and structured
businesses as well as the critically important functions of Risk, Controlling and Compliance.
● Championed a Sales/ Trader model, putting integrity and client reach at the heart of the business model
together with top quality idea generation and execution while also bringing a close interaction between The
research team and the credit business especially on the back of the major repricing of critically important
commodities ( Oil, Gas, Copper..) for the issuers of the region were they Sovereigns or Corps.

Global Credit trading, within the London credit correlation team, I have been the main trader responsible for
pricing, executing and risk managing the corporate CSO business, the key driver of the structured credit
business at DB.
● Products traded included First to default baskets, Bespoke Single Tranches, Itraxx and CDX tranches.
● Managed one of the biggest correlation books using all hedging tools such as single name and index CDS as
well bespoke and index tranches and options, while consistently exceeding Pnl targets and building key client
relationships in and outside the company for 5 consecutive years.
● Gained a deep knowledge of the CDS market whether HY or IG or Emerging markets.
● Trading with a diversified client base from hedge fund and prop desks to regional banks, insurers and retail
clients on a global basis, with significant pnl generated.
● Other responsibilities included being the main manager of the hybrid risk platform.
● The main risks were in Emerging markets, Commodities as well as FX/ Equity and Credit / Equity
correlations.
● Trading vanilla structures such as Term repos, equity and FX options, quanto forwards with both clients and
in the market to mitigate legacy risks and take profitable positions on some hugely dislocated markets.
