•Developing New products & application for Fluoropolymer based process aids in multilayer coextrusion LLDPE /HDPE based blown films and CPP and BOPP Cast film based market segments.
• Worked in developing new application market segments for glass microspheres, ceramic micropsheres speciality fillers for polymers compounding & coating industry
• Applying technical skills on new product development, product modification, application development, product localization, life cycle management, technical service, manufacturing support.
• Played key role in set up of Corportate Research Polymer Processing lab - in organizing Twin screw extruder configuration & machine procurement for 3M China Lab, Capillary rheometer, Dehumified vaccum oven, injection molding machine installation and ASTM specimen mold fabrication.
• Done projects in areas such as general cost reduction, quality improvement efforts, etc.
• Involved in development of boron nitride thermal cooling fillers based in plane and out of plane thermally conductive plastics compounds for LED lighting applications and battery casing components based out of Nylon-6, PPS, PBT & PC-ABS with major OEM and Tier -I processors and encapsulation compounds based on Silicone and Epoxy based Compounds ECM modules, as well as development of thermal greases compounds for electronic components.

Achievements:

1. Worked in Project firebolt for Plastic based Scotch brite Broom home cleaning tool involved in concept, scale up and manufacturing support on various concepts and product development. -commercially launched

2.Developed Improved white index & thermally stable fluoroelastomer process aids for compounders& plastics processors - Business Value generated- 2 Mn USD/Annum
3.Technically qualified fluoropolymer process aid for usage in solution, slurry and gas phase polymerization polyolefins at IOCL/ GAIL/ OPAL/Haldia/ Reliance/HMEL/BCPL - Business opportunity- 4 M USD/Annum.
4. Worked with Resin manufacturers under different polymerization technology of Hostalen- slurry, Mitsui- slurry, Nova-solution, Innovene G gas Phase, univation M-PE and spherilene gas phase technology for qualifying process aids.

5.Analyzed product feasibility concept of process aid in new market segments & cleared gate reviews for New product implementation
9. Generated 600 K USD for PFA ball valve linings for pharma industry and 1M USD for Modified TFM in cryogenic gas handling pressure hose applications by modified PTFEpaste extrusion grades and Fluorothermoplastic resin processing .

10. Worked and qualified 3M evaporation boats for BOPP and BOPET metallization film lines and work with coextrusion blown film manufacturers for improved processing and film properties.
11. Developed elastomeric Heat shrink sleeves and cable joints for 66 KV high voltage cable kits from Lab level to pilot and scale up process for EMD business.
12. Filed Two International Patents and local patent on ( product development skills)

16. Delivered International Webinar on “Sealings and Linings for Chemical process Industry” as key note speaker for India in the year 2020.
17. Delivered International webinar on “Improve equipment performance in corrosive and high temperature environment” for Thailand and Indonesia as Main Speaker in the year 2021.

• Involved in formulation development and compounding of bio plastics
• Product analysis and characterization of developed bioplastics before downstream applications by FTIR, DSC, TGA, Rheological Characterization
• Product optimization by pilot trial runs at customer end and document the process condition and product performance.
• Training customers for Processing of bio plastics and conducting technical seminars at customer end & conferences for creating public awareness on bio plastics, key market drivers for bioplastics usage and advantages.

Achievements:
• Involved in Development of prototype Biodegradable plastic toothbrushes for Colgate & Palmolive, India and later taken by our U.S partner, NTIC team for Development of toothbrush for “Colgate Wisp” model.
• Developed biodegradable paper coating for disposable cups with ITC Paper boards. Worked with NCL Pune rheology lab for developing Melt strength and melt elasticity of biodegradable coating. Achieved 20 gsm coating thickness as against the competitive product of 30gsm by International Paper boards.
• Developed Biobased biodegradable injection molding grade resins for Mac Donald’s cutlery applications by developing high temperature resistant Polylactide blends.- Visited Malaysia to qualify
• Involved in development of Eco-friendly biobased pen casing to Reynolds, G.M. Pens under the brand name “Ecogreen Reynolds 045 model”.
• Developing Biobased shampoo laminates for Hindustan Unilever and reducing impact of carbon foot print emissions.
• Developed biodegradable blow molding bottles for medical and cosmetic application with Himalaya drugs, Clarion Cosmetics and Marico India.
• Developed Biobased biodegradable water purifier package cover for EurekaForbers.

• Implemented the purification system for Depolylactam suitable for Polyamide-6 Polymerization.
• Worked on lab scale purification of caprolactam obtained by Depolymerization of Nylon-6 waste by Ion exchange resins
• Characterization of thermal & mechanical property for Nylon 6 polymer such as Tensile strength, Impact Strength, Flexural strength, Melt flow index, HDT.
• Depolymerization of Polymer (PA) from Carpet Waste, Tyre cord waste using Batch reactor, Dehydration and Distillation of recovered Caprolactam
• Trend analysis of Process Variables in Depolymerization of Polyamide-6 waste in Plant.
