Reporting to the ALJ Lands Managing Director with a dotted line to the ALJ Group Chief Risk Officer, and in charge of the
evaluation of risk profiles for the real estate projects of Abdul Latif Jameel Group of Companies.
Drafted procedures and governance manual based on ISO 31000 for the integration of project and enterprise risk management
standards in ALJ Lands processes.
Leading the quantitative risk analysis team to provide more accurate forecasts with regard to investment decisions, product
demand and cash flow analysis to enhance risk-informed decision making across the domestic business lines of ALJ Group.
- Reporting to the Corporate Contracts Manager and accountable for the administration and management of multiple contracts of ongoing projects within Saudi Arabia.
- In charge of the complete risk analysis of projects in tender phase and establishment of the risk tolerances and thresholds in coordination with senior management.
- In charge of the compilation and update of the projects’ risk registers in coordination with the company’s project managers and project staff.
- Currently assisting the Corporate Contracts Manager in the evaluation and compilation of claims worth over eighty million USD for the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
- Reported to the Studies and Estimation Manager and accountable for the final budget and risk evaluation of the project, and where I have been recognized for aggressively reducing cost estimations of MEP works.
- Supervised a team of five engineers and finalized the estimations for various projects (transportation and infrastructure) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Handled the preparation of cost estimations, communications with suppliers, progress report submissions, and aggregating information into well polished proposals and submittals.
- Additional areas of responsibilities included integration and sharing of tendering information with the civil and procurement departments, and with joint venture partners.
Worked closely with clients and on-site coordination to meet all the required construction standards. Managed construction crews in their site duties, organized daily schedules and material take-offs.
Promoted in March 2011 to the proposal department where duties included creating an optimal technical and financial solution for tendering various water treatment projects in Lebanon and provided support for the Sales Department in meetings with potential clients.
Prepared technical submittals and compliance sheets for materials, and collaborated with the Sales Department to create marketing and qualifications documents.
