Key Deliverables:
• Create and execute procurement strategies that deliver a competitive advantage and cost-savings.
• Accountable for approving the requirements, and requisitions, and conducting the pre-qualification and finalization of contractors/sub-contractors for procurement operations.
• Look after the packaging, scheduling, tendering, assessing, negotiating, subcontracting, and overseeing until final delivery and handover.
• Formulate, negotiate, manage, and finalize complex and high-value contractual arrangements and procurement proposals.
• Oversee the tender lifecycle from floating tenders, acknowledging & evaluating the bids, and suppliers' qualifications, inspecting the goods & services, and finalizing the contracts.
• Avoid out-of-stock situations across the construction projects by leading the procurement of the required project materials released by the team and ensure lead times are in line with the project schedule.
• Prepare, float, and look after the RFPs to the relevant list of pre-approved suppliers/subcontractors.
• Conduct the PQ/ due diligence process for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Interface with the construction teams for project requirements, liaise with the client through workshops, factory visits, and presentations, and obtain the materials approvals.
• Add value to the contract management by assist the team in negotiating the best-suited price, terms, and conditions with vendors.
• Conduct due diligence of vendors, sub-contractors, and contractors to procure the project-wide resource at the least cost within the acceptable quality criteria while focusing on lead time.
Played a key role in creating and supervising the centralized procurement department process for handling the organization's operations in various countries, including KSA, UAE, Qatar, Iraq, and Nigeria. Key Deliverables:
• Played a significant role in negotiating long-term agreements, maintaining competitive pricing, reducing costs annually, and checking supplier quality and delivery performance.
• Supported the business by executing professional procurement methods with the Group Engineering and Procurement Director Ensured accuracy within company POs and pricing according to markup policy by forming good vendor relationships.

• Steered the procurement process for major items and equipment of large industrial projects in KSA.

• Carried out the complete MEP works at the Jazan Airport Wide Body Upgrading Project (Jazan, KSA). Streamlined the MEP works with Consultant/Designer "Netherlands Airport Consultants" (NACO).
• Looked after the installation, testing, and commissioning of airport HVAC, Temporary & Main Terminal Buildings, firefighting, water distribution, and water and sewage treatment facilities.
• Played a stellar role in carrying out the electrical works, including MV cables, transformers distribution network, powerhouse upgrading, telephone network, FA, PA, and FIDS systems.
• Articulated and deployed the CAT1 runway lighting system, including harmonization between visual and electronic landing aids.
