• Planning and scheduling the work and effectively organize the shop fabrication activities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines.
• To attending regular meetings with the Clients and weekly meeting with the Operations Manager and keeping them informed of progress.
• Planning for resources such as man power/ material to meet project requirements
• To monitoring the shop labor force through Supervisors, Foremen and monitoring the work of sub-contractors to complete the work as per customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with engineering department for selection of material to suit the market availability in coordination with Project coordinator and follow up with Engineering dept. for drawings, to schedule work planning.
• To ensuring proper usage of materials & equipment and to improving methods required for cost saving / cost reduction in accordance to budgets.
• To controlling & monitoring of blasting & Epoxy painting system.
• To ensuring proper documentation required for the completion of work and gain approval from the Q.C department for further operation.
• To monitoring the equipment/ machinery maintenance inside the fabrication shop.
• To over-see safety matters on the shop including housekeeping, and ensuring that the safety regulations.
• Witness of welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification test.
• Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS
• Review of approved WPS and PQR.
• Retain a copy of approved welding procedures, a list of qualified welders and a list of welder identification numbers.
• Monitoring of Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as per WPS.
• Inspection of weld joint preparation, fit up, alignment & dimensional inspection as per drawings.
• Visual inspection of welded joint profile, surface finish and defects.
• Preparation of joints for NDE as per required Inspection Class.
• Offering of joints and organizing the NDE team.
• Visual inspection of completed welds.

PROJECTS HANDLED
Although I feel my biggest achievements are still ahead of me, I am proud of my involvement with successful projects carried out @ Precision Press products. To mention a one of them,
✓ This is specially Designed Project done forever well-known Customer "INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY". This Project is Consecuted by special Fabrication work within a short span of time. This Project involves multiple tasks such as 'SLIDING DOOR FOR TLR COACH', 'SWELLING DOOR FOR MILITRY COACH', and 'MANY OF THE ITEMS FOR ANGOLAN COACH'.
This is one of the best achievements done by me in my concern.
