• Responsible for Dixons Carphone Ireland Program Office.
• Formalised Business Change control function for Carphone and Curry's.
• Re-architected a Commercial Planning practice which enabled communication of commercial priorities from Senior Management team through to tactical delivery which maximised focus on resource efficiency.
• GDPR Program Lead for Dixons Carphone Ireland Support Centre and Retail.
• Irish lead for UK (Parent Company) programs including Service Transformation & Re-Brand, Digital Transformation and Information Security.
• Established a Fraud, Risk & Compliance Control Framework for iD mobile enabling.
• Facilitating the commercial discussions and diligence on the future of iD Mobile.
Addressing a market niche for non-intrusive, targeted, mobile video advertising. We successfully mobilised a team of like-minded professionals to create a business plan fronted by a functioning prototype mobile video advertising solution.
Having boot strapped to the point of prototype we petitioned funds for investment as we pitched our concept to mobile operators around the globe.
Unfortunately, we failed to get the financial backing needed to move from prototype to a live deployment.
Responsible for the Enterprise Mobile Product Portfolio. The Portfolio was key to eir Business’ strategy to operate as a full ICT service provider to business, enterprise and government customers.
Defined the product strategy and maintained portfolio roadmap. Built and lead a team of professionals responsible for the ongoing management of the portfolio. Included design and delivery of bespoke customer solutions across multi-technologies and multi-vendors.
Championed the portfolio at senior level influencing, priorities, strategy, planning and budgeting.
As Senior Product Manager, lead the build and market launch of eir’s Enterprise Mobile Product Portfolio targeting Large Enterprise and Government customers.
Identified core market opportunities, designed the product suite required to compete and delivered to market through innovative technology and communications partners.
Mobile for Business launched very successfully in Sept. 2012 solidifying eir’s reputation as a full ICT provider capable of scaling solutions to suit all business needs.
Joined the Advanced Product Development (APD) team as Commercial Program Manager. The APD team was an internal incubator whose remit it was to fast track product developments through our product development lifecycle.
Responsibility for the end to end delivery and market launch of Commercial Products including eir Mobile MVNO for SOHO/SME and Mobile Broadband. Led design and development efforts across local functional and virtual teams including off shore vendor
management.
Key member of a small and dynamic engineering start-up team, from network launch as Senior Engineer.
Provided both Engineering Infrastructure and Support functions for the core network nodes in the networks start-up phase. Responsible for the Intelligent Network (IN) nodes - the core call handling and charging node in the Meteor network. Design and delivery of all commercial propositions.
Advanced Service Engineer. Responsible for the management and support of core network nodes such as Intelligent Networks Prepaid (IN-PP), SMSC, AUC and HLR.
Technical Lead for the IN Replacement and Dual SMSC Upgrade for 2000 Olympics.
Senior Software Developer working with a small team across New Zealand and Asia.Duties were to focus on creating a version of early bluescreen technology software for commercial use at events and tourist attractions.
