Work Description:
• Review and ensure that all applicable Methods are well executed (Method Statements and Quality procedures.) Implement Quality Programmed Plan, implement programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting, and problem-solving and quality control procedures.
• Review and comments on revisions of project standard. Perform in depth review to verify specification on project design and construction stage.
• Perform variety of complex inspections jobs within the discipline provide day to day work directions as required for inspection in the project.
• Ensure work performed conforms with engineering specifications and monitor implementation of project QC programs.
• Inspect high and low voltage termination, splicing, and cable pulling operations and substations. Inspect below and above ground electrical installation and grounding system installation. Inspect and/or test transformers and switchgears. Inspect on electrical equipment installations e.g. Motors, HV/LV Switchgears, MCC’s and Panels, generators, transformers and switches and other miscellaneous items.
• Write inspection report, non-compliance report, prepare and maintain inspection reports
• Act as representative to (or Act on behalf of or deputize for) Commissioning Engineer, as and when Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning activities of all electrical equipment (such as HV/LV Switchgears, HV/LV Power Transformers, Panels and Distribution Boards) required or as requested to witness.
• Attend Mechanical Completion Walk Down prior to Hand-Over The project.
