• Review inquiries and construction drawings, evaluate and generate GA design drawings for all types of LV Switchgears, HVAC control panels, VFD, Motor Control, Duct Heaters, etc.
• Generate project cost estimation and costing, document submittals for consultant approvals.
• Review submittal comments and provide feedback to get final approval from the consultants for the design before execution of the project.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and consultant for technical inquiries.
• Ensure quality, QA/QC protocol are implemented, and provide technical support for the technicians and engineers in installation, assembly, servicing, FAT testing and commissioning.
• Site visit as per client & contractor request for further clarification and provide technical support in installation, quality control, and start-up commissioning.
Review drawings, QC IRE approvals and validate QC IREs upon MEP department handing over of
MEP installation to the T & C team to proceed for testing & commissioning of LV MDB, SMDB,
MCC, ATS, BACS, Lighting Control System, Fire Alarm System, Gas Detection System (GSS),
Dewatering System, HVAC, FCU, Fire Pumps, etc.
* Supervise & conduct site inspection, testing and commissioning activities, lockout/tag-out system
to ensure proper execution as per approved drawings & TC procedures.
* Prepare QC IRE documentation & conduct daily inspection to verify all MEP installation and issue
installation release note upon concluding that the MEP installation is ready to be commission.
* Utilizing the master T & C commissioning document library in ACONEX for the creation of
project specific inspection checklist and test forms documentation for PSAT (Partial Stand-Alone
Test), SAT (Stand Alone Test), and SIT (System Integration Test) in coordination with the QC & MEP
department.
* Conduct and review T & C procedures, method statement, work permit, material approvals,
instrument catalogues, drawings, HSE procedures to ensure proper safety execution of testing &
commissioning activities.
* Coordinate with suppliers, consultant, safety engineers & MEP engineers in conducting site
inspection and stage-wise testing & commissioning activities.
* Ensure documentation are updated as per latest Qatar Rail approved format from time to time and
ensure all attachment, drawings, calibration certificates are correct & updated.
* Issue stage-wise test approval certificates such as PCC (Pre-commissioning Certificate), PAC (Partial
Acceptance Certificate), and AC (Acceptance Certificate) upon conclusion of successful test result.
Review, comment, & approvals for all electrical related submission by the contractor such as
materials, shop drawings, contractor pre-qualification, ITP, IRE, etc.
* Verify that materials, manufactured goods, electrical equipment, etc. supplied to the job site are in
line with projects specification and approvals.
* Ensure that electrical drawings are in line and coordinated with other discipline design drawings of
the project prior to proceeding with work and to highlight to the project manager of any
discrepancies for necessary corrections.
* Inspect site for electrical work/installation and ensure that the works follow contract drawings,
KAHRAMAA, QCS, and related documents.
* Conduct site visit to advise Project Managers of any field issues, site progress, discrepancies, and
attend any co-ordination meeting required.
* Observe and witness all buried electrical services and give RFI approval prior to concreting/filling.
* Review Operation and Maintenance Manuals, as built drawings for handing over of documents.
* Review and approval of contractor’s cost variation order and monthly billing.
* Reply all contractor’s RFI, letters, & correspondence related to the electrical works.
* Attendance to pre-functional testing & commissioning upon contractor’s request.
* Ensuring that all electrical installation carried-out efficiently in accordance with the project
specifications, contract drawings, QGEWC, Q-TEL, QCDD, and all relevant standard.
Monitor project status and represent the client with the Consultants and Contractors for
inspection of on-site electrical installation and testing activities for MV, LV, and ELV installations
including transformers, switchgears, generators, MV Panels, Low Current System, Fire Alarm
System, CCTV, Access Controls, Data Centers, Security Road Blockers, and Building Management
System.
* To ensure that all electrical installation is executed in accordance with the approved design
drawings, outline specifications, and accepted rules of good practices in coordination with the
consultants and contractors.
* Review construction design drawings, materials specification, and update with client manager
regarding project status.
* Attend meetings and seminars with consultants, suppliers, and contractors regarding project
developments, new engineering technology, demos, etc.
* Advice consultants to make the required modification if any in accordance with the client
requirements.
* Organized daily, weekly, and monthly site visit with the consultants and site contractors to ensure
proper execution of the projects had implemented.
* Study and give technical support to the client anything they do not understand about the
engineering terms and design drawings.
* Attend site acceptance testing and pre-functional testing for electrical equipment with the main

with diesel engine, VFD, Soft-Starter for AHU application, BMS, industrial controls &

* Assist technicians and engineers in panel assembly and FAT testing, troubleshooting, and quality
control.
* Field servicing in various regions of Saudi Arabia such in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah as
area of responsibility for testing and start-up commissioning for KSB client’s projects.
* Provide complete detailed inspection report, Testing and Commissioning report to the After-Sales
Manager prior to the final turnover and closing of the projects to the client.
