Projects:
Successfully worked on the structural 3D modeling & detail engineering of Mobile Launcher System (Medium Range Surface to Air Missile) and UOLT (Underwater Object Loading Tube) for Ship system, right from concept design to dispatch stage of the project.
Modeling and detail engineering of jigs and fixtures for various projects like ‘Engineering Mine Plough’, ‘Vibration Testing of electronic units’.
Revision of drawings and clearing of ECR’s (Engineering Change Request) & NCR’s (Non Conformity Reports) of simultaneous ongoing projects in the department.
Role:
3D modeling, Assembling & Detail engineering/drafting of steel structures and electromechanical systems using basic GDNT, using CAD tools like Unigraphics NX-6, 7.5, 8.5 & AutoCAD 2010, 2016.
Assembly integration of mechanism and creation of arrangements.
Participated in team discussions on technical issues related to the projects.
Initiated & worked on improvement of aesthetics design & safety on the launcher.
Involved in the preparation of system Documentations such as Preliminary Design report, Detail Design report, Loading/ Unloading schemes, also prepared presentations for internal and customer meetings.
Conducted regular visits at manufacturing and assembly & integration site for resolving design related issues.
Provided general support to Project Management Team.
Uploaded & managed project documents & drawings in PLM-ENOVIA.
Clearing and creation of ECR’s and NCR’s for the project in PLM.
Played a major role in achieving BOM commonality of the launcher jointly with our project partners, as per the requirements of the customer.
Providing general support in making drawing revision, clearing of DCR’s & NCR’s of simultaneously for other ongoing projects’ within the department.
Creation of Hierarchical BOM for projects in PLM-ENOVIA.

Role: * Was placed on new barge construction site for a period of three months & barge repair site for a period of two months.
* Generated record of received material for new construction, tracked the plates consumed and updated the plate register for survey.
* Issued drawings to contractors & looked after the supply of welding machines and tools to the workers.
* Managed the supply of helpers to welders & fitters.
* Generated records for tonnage of work done on the vessel & material (steel) left over after the repair of each vessel.
* Initiated for good housekeeping on the vessels deck for safe working.

Role: * Was placed in different departments such as New Construction (Hull), Out Fitting Engg., Pipe shop, Machine Shop, Plant Maintenance, Steel Preparation Shop, Q.A. & R., Design Hull.
* Initiated and successfully completed projects such as fabrication of storage containers for the canteen.
