Work as a member of a multinational team, delivering and designing military and personal development training for UAE nationals under the Al Bayariq Citizenship Programme. The programme is currently delivered to students in schools throughout the UAE as part of an initiative to develop future leaders and responsible citizens of the UAE. Team Leader, Joint Military Parachute Centre at UK Armed Forces

Managed an experienced team of instructors delivering advanced parachute instruction in North Germany. The management and supervision of such activities meant following strict guidelines where deviation from these rules could be fatal. Personal development of all customers was the main objective of training. Areas of personal development included: Courage, determination, discipline and teamwork, relating directly to the customers everyday lives. Developed the use of new training and feedback methods, to help customers overcome any physical or mental boundaries they encountered during training. This allowed for far greater progression of customers. Reported on the quality and standard of training on a regular basis through the review of my team members, ensuring training was delivered to the highest of standards. In control of accounts and equipment procurement for training purposes, this included: control, inspection, utilisation, and acquisition of specialist and highly valuable equipment. Managed the logistics, administration and running of multiple international parachuting events, consisting of competitors from over ten countries. These were highly prestigious events.

Responsible for the management, safety and effective delivery of parachute training to teams of UK Armed Forces, at home and abroad. Delivered first class parachute training using cutting edge techniques. Commanded parachuting sorties as the senior trainer and was responsible for the control of all parachutists; supervision of safety checks on all parachutists equipment; logistical planning of entire parachute jump; supervision of all other instructors and aircraft crew; and the safe jump of all parachutists and their equipment to a pre-organised drop zone. Throughout training continually assessed all student parachutist ability levels to ensure safety and the quality of the end product. The recording of student performance gave a critical record of ability and helped identify any potential training risks. Owing to the dangerous nature of parachuting, safety, teamwork, communication, and professionalism were required at all times for the safe and successful operation of the school.

Manager, NATO Force Development Team at UK Armed Forces

Second in command of UK Armed Forces, Force development centre, Al Udeid, Qatar. Designed and led a comprehensive fitness training and welfare package as the leader of a multinational NATO Forces team. Responsible for the fitness and well being of all NATO Armed Forces employees based in Doha and UK Armed Forces employees working in the neighbouring country of Bahrain. The position required the meticulous management of all leisure and fitness facilities; command and control of all NATO forces fitness trainers; the supervision of all training and organised events; management of accounts and negotiation with local businesses for the acquisition of equipment; and the leading of all local based adventurous training expeditions. Delivered daily briefings to line manager, to report on all aspects of Force Development and training. This allowed the team to deliver training/events to suit the needs of our NATO Armed Forces customers. Organised various multinational forces sporting events, which played an integral role in the bonding of employees from different cultures, and helped create strong effective working relationships.

In command of a team of trainers responsible for the delivery of physical and developmental training, to improve and maintain employee efficiency and effective output. The focus of training was personal development, team building, leadership and physical training. Set annual targets to ensure one hundred percent of employees were trained and physically tested. Compiled and analysed reports with team members to ensure key performance indicators were met and any shortfall in training and testing could be identified and addressed. Designed and delivered remedial training and bespoke lifestyle packages for employees who did not achieve the required fitness and training standards. These individuals were trained and monitored on a daily basis until standards could be achieved. The delivery of such diverse training involved the control of large budgets for the procurement of equipment, and planning and organisation of international expeditions for personal and group development purposes. All international expeditions required meticulous planning far in advance for logistical purposes, and to ensure training needs were met.
