- Project:
• KEMPINSKI Summerland Hotel & Resort - Beirut - Lebanon.
- Scope of work:
• Exterior and Interior finishing works.
• Minor civil works.
- Key responsibilities & duties:
• Review shop drawings against tender documents and compiled drawings.
• Monitor the selection of materials delivered on site to ensure compatibility with required standards and compliance with specifications.
• Review method statements and B.O.Q. of all trades and items prior to execution.
• Daily site visits to monitor quality, progress and sequence of work against planned schedule.
• Ensure productivity is within the allowed budget rates, and that materials and man-hour wastage are minimized.
• Liaise with client representative, consultant and subcontractors.
• Prepare and send field inspection requests (FIR) to the consultant.
• Assist in the evaluation and estimation of Variation Orders/Claims.
• Submit Design Queries (DQ) for clarifications and/or discrepancies.
• Prepare and issue payment certificates for clients, contractors, etc.
• Prepare and send correspondences to the client.
• Attend regular coordination meetings with other departments.

Scope of work:
• Wood & Steel trades, fit out, furniture, etc.
Key responsibilities & duties:
• Responsible for developing, maintaining and revising project budgets and schedules.
• Assign and distribute tasks to the project team members.
• Direct, supervise and check activities of team members engaged in preparing shop drawings, specification documents & material submittals for the projects.
• Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with detailed execution documents.
• Prepare total project breakdown and order material accordingly.
• Prepare and issue payment certificates for clients and contractors (AFP, PC, etc.).
• Estimate, substantiate and prepare Variation Orders (RVO, VO, etc.).
Projects (Execution):
• Café Patchi - ABC Mall Verdun - Beirut - Lebanon
• Patchi Headquarters (Renovation) - Beirut - Lebanon
Projects (Design & Development):
• All newly opened / renovated boutiques across the world.
Key responsibilities & duties:
• Direct and manage the client / company’s real estate assets and projects.
• Attend regular meetings with the board members to assign contractors, present the execution progress and budget report of on-going and completed projects.
• Manage the design of all upcoming branches from feasibility to completion.
• Follow up the preparation of the development drawings, specs, BOQ, etc. with the Architect and MEP consultants.
• Prepare request for proposals and define scope of work for all contractors.
• Coordinate the tendering and bidding process for projects to be executed.
• Carry out cost comparisons and value engineering for projects to be executed.
• Oversee the agreements with the contractors and with the company’s legal department to develop into binding contracts prior to execution.
• Follow up closely the construction works through regular site meetings.
• Assess and administer all payment certificates and variation orders for contractors against their contracts.
• Assess and prepare status reports/snag list for boutiques and other real estate assets owned by the company.
