Within these three years of employment I have been involved in HVAC calculations for different M&E projects gaining vital understanding and working experience on Building Services design principles and Building Physics. Moreover, I have gained vast experience in 3D Dynamic Thermal Simulation and Computational Fluid Dynamic modeling in order to analyze the energy consumption, heating and cooling loads of complex building internal environments. I also have very good knowledge and understanding of the ASHRAE STANDARD modeling codes. Knowledge and vast working experience has been gained in Part L IES simulations, regarding carbon emissions compliance according to Building Regulations requirements. Finally, I have gained vast experience and knowledge in running Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations, regarding external and internal heating and thermal flows, analyzing the impact of velocity, pressure and temperature under complex conditions.
Furthermore, I followed and completed the Graduate Development Programme (GDP) sponsored and managed by WYG, enabling me to develop my team working and communication skills, my time management and organizational skills as well as my influencing skills.
I am a member of the Graduate programme of CIBSE and the Energy Institute, working towards completing my Chartership.
Concluding, I have been awarded the 2007 Fueller’s Price sponsored and managed by City University, and been nominated for the 2009 Graduate Engineer of the Year sponsored and managed by WYG.
Joined as an internship during my summer break, in order to gain some experience prior to my masters degree. My day to day work involved report writing, liaise with clients and attending design meetings.
Voluntary work during the 2004 Summer Olympic Games of Athens. I was responsible for coordinating a small group of voljunteers regarding sound and video settings during the opening and closing ceremony.
