Melbourne University, Research assistant - Data science
Lead developer of a Deep Learning framework in AI research on the assessment of biases presented in International Monetary Fund and other financial institutions’ reports and their impact on stock markets across the nations. The project heavily utilises NLP techniques/models along with data collection, data engineering and data analytics.
Monash University, Data scientist. Projects and my responsibilities:
United Nations Food safety: lead developer of Computer Vision Object Detection and Classification framework for street food safety evaluation.
Medicine: developing Computer Vision framework for the automatic classification, selection and tracking sperm cells for further extraction for In vitro fertilisation (IVF) purposes.
Macroeconomics: developed a Deep Learning framework with a web scraper and Natural language processing (NLP) pipeline with BERT based model fine tuning for the analysis of the federal reserve board, including monetary policy committee members' speeches, minutes, and press releases in order to investigate their impact on the US market and range of its indicators. Emergency services: government project for flood predictions to mitigate the consequences of the disaster. Developed Computer Vision framework to recognise/detect the area of the flooding using C-band synthetic aperture radar Data along with geospatial data as input.
Finances: developed Computer Vision framework for assessing investment attractiveness via deep analysis of satellite imagery of the populated areas in developing countries. Heavy utilisation of geospatial data.
Psychology: ML project on behavioural recognition of an individual in bargaining based on deep analysis of facial micro expressions, ECG and skin conductance data.
Energy production: data analysis of solar power plant output for further usage in model creation and forecasting.
