Short Description: The Riyadh Bus Stops and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System Project is an integral part of the transportation facilities currently being developed for the city of Riyadh including the new Riyadh Metro. It is an extremely high-profile project providing unique stations for the BRT as well as a comprehensive network of comfortable and functional passenger facilities. All but the smallest of the passenger pick up facilities are architecturally designed, enclosed and fully air-conditioned.

Position: SR.QA/QC ENGINEER
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement the QA/QC management system at site
Supervising the installation & erection for pedestrian bridges & its components (Phase 1 & 2)
Attending RFI inspection with the consultant & third party.
Control all non-conformance activities and materials to be used at the project site through the specifications.
Updating QA/QC manager, senior engineer & other parties involved if there are deviations from stipulated scope of works.
Study drawings for their correctness & completeness.
Maintains QA/QC documents and organized them for easy traceability especially during internal/external audits and handing over, assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status
Monitor/updating all finished inspection reports.
Attend and participate in QAQC and construction meetings
The project is a design and build contract and it consists of residential and training facilities along with medical, educational and all other ancillary buildings for the security forces of the Ministry of Interior. The contract package consists of four groups, and each group of facilities is located at two different geographic locations, that are, at eight different locations in total, four being in the Central Province of the Kingdom and four being in the Eastern Province.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all works in different trades (Civil/Architectural/Structural/Pre-cast and Infrastructure) that will be out of view are inspected and accepted by the Engineer; and verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
Implement the QA/QC management system at site
Maintains QA/QC documents and organized them for easy traceability especially during internal/external audits and handing over, assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status and participate in the site internal and external audits.
Conduct and coordinate inspection of materials delivered to site and make sure that it has complete documents such as mill certificates or test results
Review Method Statement to verify compliance with the Project Specification or with relevant Government and other related Standards
Conduct preparatory site inspection prior to submission of RFI’s (Request For Inspection) to the Engineers and coordinate quality inspections with all the site sub-contractor of different discipline and laboratories for all testing on site
Prepare non-conformity reports (NCR’s) when necessary and if required undertake remedial responses.
Prepare and coordinate Material Submittals for the review and approval of the Engineer
Coordinate/arrange inspection with the Engineer to secure approval of work with RFI’s
Rehabilitation of Aqueduct from Angat Dam to La Mesa Dam. Includes Tunneling with 9.9 km. long, Pipe laying of 3.3 m diameter steel pipe, Interconnection, Diversion tunnels (13.1 km at 4.3 meters in diameter)
