I’m dispatch in the company’s client (NAVAIR) as part of the air force. We support the Kuwait Air Force Calibration Metrology.
I’m responsible on the management, maintain, plan and implement the entire IT infrastructure. Ensuring that the Network, Active Directory, NAS and all of the servers/workstation are up and running properly.
I also keep the network secure and Virus free.
I handle the Laboratory’s main calibration system Met Track/ Met CAL. Its Database is running on MS SQL Server. Generating, programming and modification of reports for productions.
I handle the network of the 5 bases namely; the main PMEL Laboratory, Al Jaber, Al Salem, Army and Navy Bases.
I provide programming and document automation running in Crystal report 8.
I’m also in-charge of the NAS. The company’s main back up system
In addition I maintain their software for calibration (MET/TRACK)
I also provide training to new employees.
I’m dispatch in the company’s client (Chevron Holdings Inc.) as part of the Rhythm Server Team.
Our main work is to provide the building and cloning of Virtual servers of the company’s business partner and put it into production. This Includes administering Active Directory and providing access to end users.
We use a ticketing system (Remedy) to manage administrative request to administer servers.
I handle server build both Physical and Virtual using virtualization software (VMware). We install patches and updates for servers running in windows server 2003 and 2008. I also handle DNS related task.
I also handle IIS, DNS entries and IP Compliance. This includes complex troubleshooting.
We secure the domain for network threats (Viruses and Malware), breaches, intrusions with the centralized management of Sophos Endpoint Suite, DMZ Servers and TMG Servers.
In addition, I also provide solutions for problem and continuous improvement to the Chevron process.
I perform tasks with objective of improving the overall computer systems/network infrastructure as well as to provide management and support for the company’s operation.
I have working knowledge and proficiency in managing and installation of Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0/Server 2000/2003/2008, Microsoft Windows Exchange Server 5.5/2003. And perform maintenance at a high level for a medium-size to large-size network environment. I also had the opportunity to plan and design the Network Infrastructure and its Implementation.
I have a strong background in managing server environment with RAID and SAN Storage File server. Also Active Directory with both PDC and Secondary Domain Controller running in a TCP/IP network consisting of DNS, DHCP and Exchange Server 2003/2010. In addition, I can configure Exchange Server 2003/2010.
I also provide solutions for technical problem and future upgrades.
As part of the clearing staff I handle daily local and returned checks to encode and have them clear and prepare before sending to the Central Bank of the Philippines for verification.
I also provide charges for incorrect encoded and unfinished item that have to be delivered the next day.
I prepare unmatched items for local and regional incorrect branch code and transaction that is headed to my superior and verifies the unmatched items.
I prepare and ensure to balance the daily volume and production report of the local check’s trip tickets and make a hard and soft copy to store for further assessment.
In addition, I also train the coming new employee and assist them for the current operation of the Bank.
