* Revision and redesign of policies, systems and procedures for the efficient flow of materials from receiving to delivery operations and reverse logistics.

* Responsible for the planning, Grain inventory management, monitoring of stocks, procurement and logistics of all commodities at NFM: Wheat, Corn, Soyabean Meal, Rice, Sugar, Oats, Alfalfa, etc. Savings achieved in this area approx. USD 2.5 mm in 2012 and USD 4.1 mm in 2013.
* Identification of opportunities for improvement in the Supply Chain. One such area was the tendering of freight for Grain. Savings surpassed USD 1.5 mm for 2012, and USD 1mm for 2013.
* Improved the supplier evaluation process from previous policy of one (1) yearly review to a “VERTICE” model where monitoring of OTIF and quality is continuous.
* Achieved savings in Micro-ingredients in excess of
USD 230, 000 for 2012 and USD 175, 000 for 2013.
* Supplier’s OTIF was improved by 41.5% in two years, from 65% in 2011 to 92% in 2013.
* Responsible for Category Management and NPD (delivery of items related to innovations and development of new products). Participated in more than 20 different projects with potential revenue of USD 4 mm for 2013.
* Provide expert-subject advice to the CEO and Board of Directors on matters related to Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Commodities.
* Continous streamlining of the Supply Chain and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Req-to-Pay flow and S&OP processes.
* Build and Improve relationships with foreign suppliers and large customers. E.g.: In 2011, the FX cash flow of NFM was improved by approx. USD 1.2 mm . (focus in European and Asian suppliers).
* Streamlining of the Foreign Purchasing procedures and staffing.
* Identification of opportunities for improvement in the Purchasing area. E.g. improvement in shipping from California, US to Trinidad. Annual savings are estimated USD 19, 000.00. (For one item only).
* Suggestions on innovations and development of new products from the Procurement point of view (Category Management).
* Review of procurement policies for the implementation of new ERP
system in mid-2011.
* Solicit, negotiate and close local and foreign business deals for
Tamana Intech Park (tamana.com) and other industrial parks
Branding and promoting of Trinidad’s first Science & Technology Park (Tamana.com).
* In Charge of enabling the environment for creation of Clusters in
Trinidad & Tobago. Clusters are groups of companies and academia and public entities that have a common goal and are oriented to innovation and creation of new businesses. (Information and Communication Technology cluster successfully implemented).
* International and local Advertising and Marketing implementation for Tamana Intech Park. In the period July to October 2009, TTD 280, 000 in savings were negotiated with international media suppliers.
* Three (3) new businesses opportunities were negotiated and deals were closed via MoU. These ventures have the potential to create more than USD 12 mm in revenue and more than 1, 000 jobs for T&T.
* Support the Business Incubator initiative.
* Support local savings initiatives. (Trinidad)
* Deliver innovations brilliantly in Homecare and foods products (cross category) for Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Trinidad.
* Ensure reliability of price forecast in the Information System for
Supply Management (ISIS).
* Liaison between Category Supply Management (regional structure) and National Supply Management (local team).
* 100% OTIF for innovation delivery was achieved for 2008 and 2009.
* Led and improved the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Forum for the Logistics and IT area.
* Function as Information Security Officer (ISO) for the Logistics area.
* Established and organized a strategy for dealing with non-technical non-productive itmes (NPI) suppliers from ground zero.
* Alignment of NPI’s suppliers to the America’s regional model.
Negotiated supplier’s payment terms from 19 to 30 days in the NPI area. This gave an additional 21 days credit line to Unilever, or approx USD 60, 000 extra to the company in 2007.
* Achieved savings USD 57, 923.60. (12% higher than initial savings objective)
* Led and improved the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Forum for the Logistics and IT area.
* Function as Information Security Officer (ISO) for the Logistics area
* Developed a strong contingency plan for the most strategic packaging materials and ensuring a continuous supply, therefore
minimizing stock outs and disruption in sales.
* Successfully launched VERTICE program (Supplier Management
System) in the packaging area.
* Managed to keep materials’ prices significantly lower than its actual market prices (average 6% difference) during a 15-month period.
* Negotiated supplier’s payment terms from 59 to 63 days in the pack area or approx. USD 45, 000 extra for the company in 2006.
* Achieved savings were in excess of USD 66, 000.
* Part of HARMONIA/SAP team. This implementation was the most
successful across the Americas region and recognized at the Board Level (HQ in London).
* Led and improved the Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Forum for the Logistics and IT area.

* Sacha brand was legally registered and launched in twelve (12)
different countries during my tenure.
* Legal battle with SEPHORA was won, allowing the Sacha brand to be registered in CANADA, USA and France and its territories.
* Gained closure of agreement with two (2) exclusive distributors in Colombia and Dominican Republic. The value of these two
agreements, at the time of closure, was approx. USD 1 million per year.
