-Assisting function heads of different portfolio companies in drafting SOPs

At Al Wefag my responsibilities included finalizing and reporting the following to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and Managing Director:
- Commercial Reporting
Analysis & recommendations on Customer Development ( Business Development Agreements) (Contracts) with Modern Trade & Wholesale customers. Provided regional managers support in negotiating the best possible agreements. Support included analysis and recommendations on tactical fee, rental fee, listing fee and other fee on case by case basis. Commercial reporting responsibilities also included profitability analysis of customers.
-Product Pricing
Product pricing of new and existing stock keeping units. Provided FP&A manager with analysis of competitor prices. Included in my responsibility was special promotion pricing and annual pricing review.
Responsible for maintaining accurate and updated product (SKU) formula cards and advising on
-Sales analysis
Presenting to Financial Planning and Analysis manager and Managing Director with sales performance per brand, per customer, per distribution channel, per category and per region.
Providing meaningful variance analysis versus budget forecast and previous years.
-Financial Reporting
Preparation of financial statements with commentary on monthly basis. The report included analysis of working capital, cash flow movements, profit and loss, stock ageing and action plan, and other analysis pertaining to financial matters.
The experience at the Assurance group of Ernst and Young gave me exposure to regulatory environments of diversified industries, their key business processes and the Accounting and internal control systems of several entities.
External Audit:
-Conducted the external audit engagements along with the senior staff.
-Conducted the inventory audits.
-Conducted audit of various heads of financial statement to verify they met relevant assertions
-Prepared and delivered the reports to supervisor.

Bench marking of one of the biggest Automotive and Leasing company :
- Deciding criteria of eligible companies
- Collection of data primarily annual reports of companies from Middle East, Europe, US and Asia
- Punching, linking and summarizing the financial statements
