Dealing with all logistics, procurement, finance, and administration related issues for all the Disaster Management programs/projects (WASH, Health, EcoSec, Shelter and Operations). Additionally developed policies, processes and systems supporting the work of the support services and the PMER team including generating dashboards, SOPs and guidelines, reports, creating databases, and managing volunteer management systems.
WASH: Conducting Hygiene Promotion awareness sessions in schools, ITSs, communities. Promoted participatory processes by supporting Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation (PHAST) session implementation while distributing WASH-related items and conducting water testing in the communities. Monitored and evaluated the soft wash sessions and conducted the analysis of the ITS’s using the scoring tool.
Eco-Sec: Conducted assessments across Lebanon. Lead distributions such as cash and food related items.
Delivering awareness sessions for the communities, ITSs and societies about disaster management and disaster risk reduction, COVID-19 prevention and going back to business during the pandemic, also delivering trainings for the Lebanese Red Cross volunteers about the DM.
Logistically and technically supporting DM related trainings. Conducting field visits to the centers regarding Capacity Building minimum standards. Developed a new online training registry form while supporting in the development of the DM induction course. Created a database DM volunteers and staff while promoting knowledge management by archiving all volunteer documents. Systemized the work processes of the related work. Supporting the finance section with the financial work related to the per-diems and data validation. Managing all the requisitions with the procurement unit.
Liaising with the Disaster Management teams for the transportation of PCR tests and needed equipment in addition to coordinating with the MOPH regarding the PCR transportation details, while reporting the transported quantity of specimens to the higher manager.
Assessed the center to track minimum standards. Supported the center with the financial work of the projects. Managed the volunteer's online database and communicate existing or potential project deviations/plans to relevant stakeholders at Disaster Management Center level while back reported to the head of the center.
Recruit test subjects, gather data through interviews and/or field observation, conducting experiments, set up experimental facilities, scheduling tests and conducting lab duties and research.
Contributed to the development of awareness session content. Developed a survey on ArcGIS for to map the location of Isolation centers. Delivered DRR related awareness sessions when needed and contributed to the development of the E-leaning platform of the LRC that focuses on COVID- 19. Contributed to the development of an online training regarding the monitoring of workplaces reopened during COVID- 19 in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Public Health, UN agencies and other actors.
Participated in extracurricular activities, such as fundraising activities.
