•Improves market position through accelerating the development of broad and deep product portfolios led by Branded Generic products (Materializing Play-Book)
•Screening, evaluating and sourcing, new products and business opportunities for licensing, acquisition and development either internally or through 3rd party partnership, taking an active part in the negotiation of business deals and contracts with potential partners

•Instigate a fundamental review of various portfolios, recommending subsequent business realignment, governance structures and transition plans
•Own the Commercial Portfolio Management of assigned suppliers leveraging opportunities across divisions, functions, products, and global geographies
•Develop and implement effective global cross-divisional category strategies that are both aligned and integrated to support individual and departmental business needs, managing opportunities for security of supply (risk mitigation) while ensuring achievement of productivity goals
•Responsible for collection and analysis of data for a given category; leading Strategic Sourcing and Category Management processes that are efficient and effective at extracting value; This includes selection of, recommendation of, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers
•Managing supplier relationships and conducting regular business reviews in partnership with External Manufacturing
•Work with key suppliers to identify continuous improvement/productivity opportunities, develop business cases, and coordinate implementation thereof
•Ensuring alignment, expectations and deliverables on tactical, operational, and strategic levels throughout the global matrix organization
