Operations Manager at International Rescue Committee

• Managing Supply Chain staff for providing smooth running of the overall support system to IRC’s programs in central Iraq. This includes general administrative support, logistics, procurement, transport management of Baghdad office as well as support to the IRC offices in central Iraq
• Manage office supply, including ordering, stocking and distributing office supplies to all project staff as well as Guest House.

• Ensure the IRC policies and procedures are correctly implemented on a) Asset control management, that returns are done in a timely manner, b) on inventory management and correct documentation is produced by the program staff
• Ensure that there are enough vehicles under contract to allow programming to proceed unhindered, vehicles are well maintained, train drivers as necessary in IRC transportation rules, IRC fleet is allocated in a transparent and correct manner, establish and enforce good fleet management practices, including driver supervision and dispatch mechanisms.
• Ensure IRC staff and partners have adequate and functional communication equipment and the IT Officer maintains proper functioning IT equipment, a computers and related equipment
• Ensure Purchase Request Tracking Sheet (PRTS) is regularly updated. Consolidate data from PRTS for SC Monthly Report.
• Analyze PRTS in order to ensure that all procurement is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner, follow up on any delays.
• Review and verify monthly inventory report, ensure proper filing. Consolidate data from the inventory report for SC Monthly Report.
• Organize Supply Chain trainings for both program and operations staff on a regular basis.
• Participate in professional training and development activities, as needed or requested.

Supply Chain Manager (Temporary Transfer Assignment) at International Rescue committee
