Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible to the company management to establish, implement and maintain environmental management system accordance with
company environmental policy, procedures, manual and GIs.
* Working for Saudi Aramco waste management to ensure the policy of (3R) Reduce, Reuse and Recycle are developed and
implemented by the contractor. conduct field surveys and collect data about levels of pollution or contamination on a site or area of
consideration.
* Coordinating with third party for certification and environmental land use permits. Advise on sustainability, including waste
management, recycling, flood risk and the effects of climate change.
* Responsible to the company management to establish, implement and maintain the safety system in accordance with company
safety policy, procedures, manual and GIs.
* Assistance to the Saudi Aramco HSE Department Manager for Onshore & Offshore Construction with company HSE requirements &
compliance.
* Ensure that the companies and contractors safety policy and environment procedure are duly complied with safety management
system and environmental management system.
* To conduct environmental audits and inspection to ensure that the contractor is conforming to the environmental management
system of Saudi Aramco.

* To ensure the environmental impact and aspect register is established and implemented effectively.
* To review the contractor environmental Management plan to ensure that it captures the best environmental practices and is in line
with the ISO 14001.
* To train and motivate employees for highlighting the importance of Environment.
* Maintain an accurate HSE statistics of the company on reported accidents/Incidents/Near Misses, category wise, and provide monthly
report to the management.
* Oversee the HSE related activities of the Sub-contractors/Vendors like scaffolding, excavation and civil construction works, grit
blasting and painting, radiography etc.
* Establish HSE training program within the scope of the policy.
* Assist and perform any other task, commensurate with the HSE professional’s ability potentials, towards the upkeep of the company
and within the interest of the management.
* Conducting weekly site HSE inspections generate Total Commitment Management (TCM) reports on daily basis.
* To conduct environmental audits and inspection to ensure that the contractor is conforming to the environmental management
system of Saudi Aramco.
* To chair and conduct the Safety & Environmental Management walkthrough and meetings.
* To monitor the waste management and consumption of fuel and energy and to provide plans to reduce the consumption by (3R)
through engagement and coaching.
* To demonstrate leadership in the event of adverse incidents such as Oil or hazardous materials spill.

* Conducting site assessments to determine potential environmental hazards such as spills or contamination
* Preparing reports detailing findings from investigations and their conclusions
* Consulting with clients to develop strategies for complying with regulations or improving operations to reduce their impact on the
environment
* Conducting scientific research to identify potential environmental impacts of proposed projects or activities
* Preparing bid packages and soliciting bids from contractors for projects such as remediation of contaminated industrial sites, waste
management facilities, or power plants
* Perform evaluation of contractor safety programs and hazard identification plan to ensure that meet Schedule D and Saudi Aramco
Construction Safety Manual requirements align with Safety Management System.
* Provide safety recommendations to contractor to carry the job safely as per Saudi Aramco General Instruction requirements.
* Monitored safety requirements of the entire project and enforced all safety requirements as per SACSM and applicable Aramco G.I.

* Assist Loss Prevention Engr. and Contractor the investigation of incidents to ensure that incident reports are completed and submitted
to Project Engineer and Division Head
* Conduct regular site inspections and report unsafe acts and conditions to the Project Engineer.
* Coordinate the observations with the contractor Safety Officer for immediate corrective action
* Conduct a monthly (PSI) Project Safety Index for contractor and assist the supervisor to enter the data in the SAP system. Conduct
scaffolding inspection on every newly erected scaffold before use and every two weeks thereafter.
* Develop and maintain safety reports, records and statistical data i.e. head counts, safety man-hour, first-aid injury report, near misses
and etc. The report is submitted to the immediate supervisor in a monthly basis
* Serves as liaison between GOSPs project proponent and Loss Prevention representative during a site walkthrough inspection for safety
audit.
* Conduct interview and written test to any contractor safety officer/supervisor and to evaluate their performance and capabilities.
* Review the critical lift plan submitted by contractor to ensure that G.I. 7.028 Critical Lift Procedures prior to do the lifting.
* Assist the Project Engineer reviewing the special scaffold plan to make sure that the procedure in Scaffold Safety Handbook and G.I.
8.001 requirements are met prior to submit Loss Prevention for final review and concurrence.

* Preparing plans for the repair or replacement of damaged ecosystems or habitats
* Preparing environmental impact statements to determine the potential impact of new construction projects on the environment
* Preparing reports on environmental conditions at construction sites, mining sites, landfills, and other industrial sites where
environmental risks are present
* Advising clients on how to comply with environmental regulations
* Conduct frequent audits and inspections of field locations to ensure all company policies & procedures, safe work practices, and
applicable HSE regulations are being met.
* Conduct regular site inspection and stop any work when an unsafe act or condition is identified, act to ensure all conditions are safe
before work is resumed.
* Ensure that all contractor/Sub-contractor behaviors and practices are aligned with the expectations and standards for health and
safety in their workplaces.
* Coordinate and/or attend regular safety meetings for the field level personnel to provide safety updates and communicate health and
safety related issues.
* Monitored safety requirements of the entire project and enforced all safety requirements as per SADARA safety standard and method
statement. Conduct a monthly (PSI) Project Safety Index for contractor on the monthly basis.

* Conduct an inspection for work permits and ensure that all pipeline activities mentioned in the permit and the safety precautions
highlighted by the issuer are addressed.
* Perform a regular inspection for all heavy equipment’s being used for pipe laying and installations activities are certified by Saudi
Aramco inspectors.
* Conduct a regular inspection of all heavy equipment operators to make sure that they are certified to operate the specific equipment
mentioned the back of the certificates as per G.I. 7.025 Testing and Certification requirements.
