Gas Offshore Drilling Department
Worked as assistant Foreman and then foreman on offshore, jack up rigs covering drilling & well completions for big bore gas wells on Hasbah & Arabiyah Offshore Gas field. Delivered first two big bore gas wells in ARBI & HSBH project.
Utilize & used special and customized
First 44" tri-cone bit made especially for this project.
750 tone & 1000 tone running casing spider slips and spider elevator to run 24" & 18-5/8" casing with casing weight close to 1.1 million pound.
Run & cemented 14" BOT liner hanger.
Completed the wells with 9-5/8 chrome pipe with 9-5/8" BOT liner hanger
First worldwide 9-5/8” BOT SSSV was tested & used successfully to secure the well.
Use 9-5/8" BPV.
• ARBI-7 Khuff-B & C vertical/ HPHT open hole well. Drill, complete Flow Back and Clean-Up the first big-bore casing design well in Saudi Aramco operations. This achievement is one of its kinds worldwide in terms of the completion size, pressure rating and the specially designed equipment for this development. The well was flowed to a maximum rate of 67MMSCFG/D @ 7294 psi FWHP solid free.
• HSBH-25 Khuff-B & C vertical/ HPHT open hole well. Drilled & well completed with 9-5/8" tubing. Flow Back and Clean-Up operation was delayed due to operational issue.

2007-2011 Drilling Engineer/ Assistant Foremen Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia
Gas Development Drilling Department (GDDD) & Oil Workover Department
Working with GDDD & Oil Workover Department as drilling engineer, I worked in the following projects:
1. Prepared workover program to de-complete and complete fife wells in Hawtah field with expandable and premium sand screen with new ESP pump,
2. Prepared abundant program to plug and abandon eight wells in BERRI wells: BRRI-113; BRRI-224; BRRI-246, BRRI-234 BRRI-3; BRRI-116BRRI-117 & BRRI-7.
3. Prepared drilling & completion program to sidetrack in Unayzah Reservoir, HWTH field (3 Oil wells). HWTH-1; HWTH-34 & GHNH-44.
4. Prepared drilling & completion program to drill vertical & horizontal HPHT gas wells; NJYN-38, MDRK-31 & HRDH-1045.
5. Prepared and supervise several running & cementing casing& liner; running completion & flow back.
6. Work as assistant drilling foreman on ADC-15 and delivered three gas wells in ten months:
• UTMN-1800: Khuff-B & C vertical/cased hole with12, 900ft deep.
• UTMN-2215: Khuff-C dual laterals with open hole completion. Set a new record of the longest open hole lateral in Saudi Aramco gas wells of 20160ft MD/ 12648ft TVD with a total of 10, 000ft open hole.
• HRDH-1079: Khuff-C dual laterals with open hole completion and a total of 12, 000ft open hole. Set new record run of 22inch bit with lowest cost per foot and highest average ROP with 60.40 ft/hr. in Haradh field using 22” T42C REED bit.
7. Work as assistant drilling foreman on ADC-31and delivered four gas wells in one year :
• UTMN-1901 Khuff-B & C vertical/open hole with12, 195ft TVD. Encounter water flow from Jilh formation while drilling 12inch hole. Killed the well after raising mud weight to 153 pcf while drilling to casing point. Run and cemented 9-5/8” casing with 166 pcf hematite cement.
• UTMN-1900: Khuff-B single lateral with open hole completion. Set new record run of 16 inch bit with lowest cost per foot and highest average ROP with 40.0 ft/hr. in UTMN field using16” QD607X HTC bit &12-3/4 XTREM motor.

Working with Intelligent Completion Technology in Optical Sensing System for a Permanent Down Hole Monitoring System - PDHMS. I was involved in the preparations, installations and commissioning high Pressure/ High Temperature PDHMS’s in Oil and Gas wells for Saudi Aramco, ADCO.
