Network Engineer
Responsible for maintaining and installing computer networks based around Microsoft Server, Linux Red hat Technologies. Working as part of a team and operating in a fast paced, changing and challenging 24x7 environment.
Some of my duties is administering & designing LANs, WANs internet/intranet networks. Also analyzing & developing key components using methodology prescribed techniques. Cisco & HP switch configuration in particular VLAN configuration/troubleshooting.

• Installing & configuring wireless access point (CISCO AND 3COM)
• Installing and upgrading leased lines, DSL & E1 for branches and ATM's.
• Encrypting leased lines for branches and ATM's.
• Communicating and negotiating with users, specialists, other staff and suppliers.

• Involved in Network cabling related to AVAYA and installation of Operating Systems for MS Windows which includes configuration and setup for Active Directory, Group Policy, Printers, DNS/DHCP and TCP/IP.
