Key Responsibilities:
• Planning and evaluating all accounting procedures and policies to ensure transactions are efficient/ effective, accounting is accurate and complete.
• Collating and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to accounts including general ledger accounts and documented business transactions.
• Documenting bank reconciliation statements enabling smooth finalization of accounts and maintaining relationship with bank executives, auditors and ascertaining conformity to regulatory bodies.
• Analyzing and drafting requisite reports to ensure that audit and engagement risks are properly considered/ documented, also made sure that the audit plan accurately reflects such evaluations and conclusions.
• Reviewing and devising monthly financial, income statements, balance sheets, internal audit, cash flow projections, principal profit and loss to reduce cost and budget compliance.
• Assisting with day to day operations of the accounting department, identifying, analyzing and resolving accounting discrepancies and ascertaining that all policies and procedures are aligned with the organizational goals.
• Maintaining and recording all accounts receivable/ payable disbursements and posted them to appropriate ledgers in order to ascertain efficient record keeping and retention.
• Handling the complete accounting cycle, beginning with posting journal entries, opening/closing of accounts, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing trial balance along with various accounting reports concluding with financial statements.
• Streamlining the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast organization's financial position including income tax statements, balance sheets and analysis of future earnings/ expenses.
