Welspun Middle East Pipes Company is a joint stock company licenses under foreign investment license number 121031118992 issued by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority dated 4th July 2010. The Company is involved in the manufacturing of Helical Spiral Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes for the water and oil & gas industry. The Company currently has a manufacturing capacity of up to 500, 000 tons.

 Lead the company IPO and listing activities with Saudi Tadawul (TASI) ensuring timely and successful initial public offering (IPO) with all needed compliance's and diligence's.
 Lead the Company merger transaction and acquisition activities.
 Develop the overall business projections of WME & undertake financial planning and budgeting and controlling.
 Develops finance organizational strategies and structure ensuring optimal working capital/cash flows.
 Analyze and recommend strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional and organizational objectives.
 Determine the financial investment plan for the company that will maximize returns and identify appropriate fund raising strategies and financial instruments for the company.
 Define the enterprise wide risk policies (strategic, financial, operational & compliance).
 Manage statutory and internal audit for the organization and tackle all observations provided by the auditors.
 Direct compliance with all Governmental programs (IKTIVA, Local Content, Transfer Price, VAT, WHT, etc.…)
 Act as interface to Investor community, ensure timely investor servicing and reporting of performance & growth
 Undertake tax planning for direct taxation and ensure compliance to applicable statutory norms.

For the last year I enjoyed working on providing Business and Financial Advisory to selective clients in the MENA region and mainly Saudi Arabia, I got the chance to develop and launch multi Industrial Project in the steel sector, Cooper Sector, Food & Beverage Franchise, in the water Production Industry where I played different roles in establishing these projects and covering the different development stage, some of these projects such as:

•Developing Steel flat plate mill with total value of 700 M USD in Ras alkhair.
•Developing Foundry Steel Project with Total value of 15 M USD.
•Developing Copper Powder Plant in Riyadh with total value of 60 M SR.
•Developing Canadian Fresh food restaurants chain franchise to Saudi Arabia with total of 45 stores plan over 10 years.
•Financing and Development for Boutique Hotel Chain Project in Europe with total Investment of 70 M Euros.
•Business Valuation Project for Water Company in Saudi Arabia with Market Value of 500 M SR.
•Business optimization and turnaround for Printing Company in Saudi with total sales of 200 M SR.

Solb Steel Company is a joint stock corporation with a paid up capital of 540 million SR and an in-hand project worth 2 Billion SR with a turnover of 3 Billion SR, thereby moving forward towards establishing a regional center for steel industry to manufacture steel at all industrial stages of production, targeting towards producing high quality steel billets and reinforcement steel bars in compliance with international standards of productivity for producing one million tons of billets and one Million tons of bars annually, whereas the company owns three subsidiaries to manage upstream and downstream business.

Highlights:
•Instrumental in launching various companies and covering the expansion stages within established standards and guidelines.
•Concentrating in securing the financing and funding for the long term and short term funding to meet the organization's needs.
•Successfully functioned as a Project Manager for various ERP implementations.
•Instituting policies and procedures from the scratch for smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.
•Determining guidelines for various departments to communicate their personnel needs to HR, thus interviewing and recruiting manpower most suited to the organization’s requirements.

•Monthly financial and operating statements, appropriate short-term/ long-range business plans in quarterly and annual basis, Budget, Financial forecast, financial stability, liquidity and growth on the basis of wide organizational goals and objectives.
•Legal requirements and government reporting regulations, company’s commercial affairs and contractual agreement.
•Lead the SAP implementation team to accomplish Solb Steel high-level automation requirements.
•Formulating and establishing joint venture among shareholders to direct the subsidiaries and upstream/ downstream businesses.
•Overseeing performance against plans, seeking resolution of variances to ensure effective cost control and optimizing achievement of approved targets.
•Administering and supervising the company exposures against FX assets lose by means of diverse Hedging deal structures, thus maneuvering receipt, disbursement and expenditures of money and other capital assets for better work flow.
•Instrumental in safeguarding the company finance from the financing institutions including banks and SIDF, consequently securing financing strategies to achieve short and long term goals and objectives of the company.
•Spearheading the development and implementation of accounting policies, systems, procedures and guidelines to ensure smooth cash flow, streamlining budgets, establishing stringent time frames and guidelines.

•Identified, formulated and executed finance and accounting policies/ procedures in accordance with corporate finance strategy.

•Assembled data and drafted the group company’s consolidated reports to ascertain the provision of reliable financial data to assist the Senior Business Management decision making.
•Directed foreign exchange hedging to reduce the company exposure to foreign currencies to safeguard the company against foreign exchange losses.
