Assist in personnel development through trainings and performance
assessment.
Advise and actively assist personnel in the application of company safe working practices. Monitor the Rig Site and ensure that all activities and conditions are conformed in accordance to Company HSE Policy and Procedures.
Gather all safety alerts and incident notification and disseminate it to all personnel on board. Conduct weekly/Monthly Safety Meetings and review accident/incident in order to prevent recurrence.
Initiate pre tour meeting and discuss the safety measures of the current activities.
Conduct periodic self - assessment audits to ensure compliance with company procedures. Facilitate Helicopter Landing Operation.
Conduct periodic safety inspection throughout the rig including the safety equipments. Participate in accident investigation and formulation of corrective action to prevent recurrence of same incident.
Conduct several safety trainings such as Drop Awareness, Working at Height and Vertical Rescue, H2S and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, Spill Prevention and etc.
Assist in maintaining all training materials and documents kept onboard the rig as well as tracking training statistics.
Assist in facilitating emergency drills such as Fire, H2S, Abandon Rig, Man Over Board, Spill, Confined Space Rescue, Vertical Rescue and etc.
Assist in personnel development through trainings and performance assessment.
Stand as Safety and Environmental representative during environmental and safety management audit conducted internally and externally
- Ensure that the corporate EHS Policy is introduced for and followed by all employees and suppliers’ employees within the scope of work
- Record and document risk assessments that are appropriate to the activities undertaken in the area of responsibility
-Implement control measures that are defined in the risk assessments and are appropriate for the activities undertaken in the area of responsibility.
-Develop and implement safe work methods for the activities
- Providing sufficient information and reporting to HSE Department to measure the overall performance versus the targets set
-Ensure that all employee's competencies be fit to perform the tasks assigned to them.
-Ensure that all accidents and near misses are reported and that reporting is in accordance with the requirements of the company’s accident and incident procedures
-Conduct regular safety inspections, prepare inspection reports accordingly and take the necessary action to solve problems that are identified and to prevent a recurrence.
- Monitoring work site activities to advise on the site deficiencies regarding risk control, HSE program implementation, and/or performance
- Establish and develop an emergency response team into a well-trained unit capable of dealing with real events as outlined within the emergency response plan
- Investigate injuries, spills, and other incident and promptly provide corrective action
- Performs accidents record analysis, and issues reports on a regularly scheduled basis
- Perform safety orientation in regards to company policy and job site safe working practice
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification Plan (HIP) to evaluate related hazards
- Conducts new hire safety orientation, daily safety huddles and weekly toolbox training.
